Opening the windows wide, feeding the birds and cats then I do a simple chair yoga routine every morning. This helps wake up my ancient body and helps it to move more fluidly throughout the day. It also keeps my mind more positive. Your videos are very uplifting and provide food for thought. I look forward to them each week.
Oh yoga! The actress Ali McGraw is an inspiration. She says she wouldn’t be able to move if she didn’t do yoga first thing. She’s so strong and vibrant. I started the practice at around 20 and have kept it up through the years for the same reason. At 72 you need all your old friends -yoga, meditation, lots of walking the dog(self), clean eating, love, friendship(church), chocolate 🤣. Love you Niamh💕

Hello from Houston, Texas! I just recently subscribed to your channel and I’m hooked! 😊 Your life seems so calm and your voice is so soothing. Thanks for sharing! 💕
Lovely. I had a lovely afternoon, walking by the canal here in Kildare. I saw my favourite bird of the canal the grey heron, it flew up and landed just beside me but when I went to take a pic a cyclist rode up and frightened it away. One day I saw it diving for a big fish. I collected blackberries and some ripe elderberries which I'll freeze to use later because I'm going away for awhile. Unfortunately the Co Council had chopped down all the waterside plants and they cut down a beautiful great Mullein that I had been collecting flowers from all summer to use for winter. I was sad because I was hoping their seeds would spread around. Its biennial but the empty flower heads provide a home for insects during winter
Yes a yoga session and meditation are an important part of my life. I love integrating chanting and Kirtan as well into my practice. Singing brings joy I feel. 😊 🙏💞

I enjoy early mornings, sunrises and listening to the sounds of nature awakening...the different birds depending on the seasons, the insects like the summer cicadas , the way the early morning shadows fall across my hardwood floors in the morning...my favourite rustic mug held firmly between chilled hands while the warmth gently caresses my palms, slowly sipping on that mornings concoction...while nature offers up its bouquet of seasonal fragrances, the autumn being my favourite ...I welcome it with an open heart.🍎 🌻 🍁🍁🍁🌾
This was so relaxing Niamh. Thanks for sharing and making the world a better place❤❤

Sarah Purnell ah thanks Sarah! Love to hear that. Many blessings to you. Xxx
I became a yoga teacher in my 60s after retiring from work in the NHS. It has been a part of my morning for years. I’m glad to see you promoting it. 🙂
Pam Jones how wonderful to finish one career and train in another. Caring all your life. X
Fairyland Cottage such a lovely thing to say, thank you. 😘
What a great idea with the sunflower milk - I might make this to make sunflower pumpkin bread from it 💚 what a lovely routine! Mine various from day to day a bit and starts really early but I do enjoy sharing my magickal morning moments too 😄
The Beatles..still making an impact on our lives! 😅Oblahdi obladah

Its just like mhhmmmm.... I am really grateful and thankful that I found your chanel .. Your voice , video like very thing you say and do in your videos are so relaxing god....
I have extreme anxiety and have decided to purposefully slow down and take my time. It's only been a couple of days so I'm not sure it helped yet, lol. Your video is exactly what I need right now. Thank you!
Me too I am trying to keep a routine in my life because I do want to go on medication
I used to do mindfulness but i haven't done this for months
I am definitely going to go back to it
Since March 2020 our lives changed
But thank God i have not stopped living my life
I don't have Fear
I meant I don't want medication
me too! i also have add & adhd (oof) so slowing down is definitely not in my nature but it honestly has helped so much. just even playing animal crossing for me is slowing down. it’s all about finding what works for you. good luck!
Yes, slowing down is integral in this fast paced world. You may enjoy my video Slow Living 101 also. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful content. I find your videos so calming and inspiring.
I love your videos 👍 so relaxing to watch in the morning it is peaceful thank you
Beautiful video! ❤ So calm and peaceful. Thank you for sharing your lovely and simple routine 🙏😊
Your voice is like the one we have in the application headspace meditation. I wouldn’t mind deleting headspace and watching these videos forever ❤️🌸
A sprinkle of your positivity makes my day
I look forward to your videos so much! They’re an integral part of my Sunday mornings. ❤️
Thank you Niamh 🌺 I wish we would have more sunny days in Ireland to spent some quality time in our gardens. I need to start doing yoga.....lazy :)
What I like about your videos is that you don't 'dress up' yourself or stage your videos for a morning routine. It's genuinely a morning routine as you're going through it.
Woke up in the middle of the night because of night terrors. Came on here looking for something soothing to ease my mind and saw you posted. Thank you so much. You’re really helping people in ways you don’t even know. ❤️ love from Arizona, USA
Ah Lina, so sorry you got night terrors. Really glad the videos soothes. Keep well my friend ❤️💕❤️

Your videos truly have the perfect calming effect! Your voice is soo relaxing. Thank you soo much.
Thank you for being apart of the calmness!
Yes to yoga! I started yoga, due to extreme anxiety. At one point, I was on the mat for 10 hours a day. The practice was more potent than the medication. So beneficial!
I love Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da! Such a great song. Also your home and just way of life reminds me of the song ‘Ireland’ by Liza Anne! I’m going through a really tough time right now and your videos have been so comforting to me so thank you Niamh 🤍✨🌿
Oh yes! I practice yoga and meditate every morning! It's such a great way to start your day!
Really don’t know how you manage to fit so much in, manage to stay so relaxed and enjoy yourself in the morning. How much time would you leave for yourself to do all this? I always struggle to fit anything in my morning without time racing by
So simple, slow, yet so powerful!!! I have been trying to acknowledge things around me especially in the mornings and that gives my mind a much needed peace!🧡🧡
'Noticing' or acknowledging is one of the things that I discuss in my Slow Living 101 video, I invite you to check it out!
A balm for the soul. Thank you
Obladi Oblada! Haha. Thank you soo much for this Sunday-morning present. I made the mistake of looking at news-related headlines this morning before coffee or anything, but yours is the first video I've actually watched this morning and it re-set me back to my center.
I'd love to hear you do a guided meditation, your voice is so soothing xx
Your videos always make me tear up. They are so comforting, and make me feel less alone and anxious. Thank you from Bedfordshire 🍂🍁🍂

Thanks for the tip on sunflower milk, I will definitely give that a try. x
Thank you for the Sunday morning video. Enjoy your day!
Hello! So peacefull for soul. Feeling nature, soil, sun, water .... Is so wonderfull for mental health! Thank you. See you next sunday!!!

Hello. Thanks for the informative and positive videos. I adore them. When you can, tell us a few things about plants. Where did you learn to pick them and how to prepare them, but also tell us about your wonderful jars and other storage items you have. I noticed that you do not use plastic at all, only glass, copper and other metals or wood. Thank you and have a beautiful day
Hi from Kalamata, Greece. I embrace slow life, calmness, nature and life. Thank you. Yiota...
