I'm not sure why there are so many hateful comments. He did very well. He kept up entirely with the rhythm of the song. The intensity was put forward in parts that needed it. His beat is on point. It's pretty great stuff. :}

I don't get why there's so much hate either. Everyone drums their own way in their own style. I say if you even attempt doing stuff like this you're doing pretty good. It's all in good fun whether people think you're good or not. It's creativity that I look at. I like the fast part where he was drumming the speed of the words. Heck I use pots and pans and stuff on my channel just for the fun of it haha :)

When you consider a rap song, the voice is really the most important thing. I like the way you considered that and found a cool mix between following the voice rhythm and soloing but also making the base fill in some parts.

If you have any technique or experience that isn't going to happen. Again, basic skill
Even a really good drummer can slip up
A really good drummer is going to cover it up and get right back on track. I'm not even that good and I can recover from a mistake within a quarter note's time. It's about being used to the instrument and being professional, no good drummer is going to lose limb independence that's stupid. That's basically what you complimented him on: limb independence. I learned that day 1 of drum lessons and got it down pat. Learn to read sheet, then limb independence will actually make sense and you'll never slip up again

Tyler this was amazing and utterly artistic in every way. If you do read this I'm curious as to why u picked this song. Was it just the beat, or in some way is are eminems lyrics a motivational factor to why you chose this. Just curious because it blends together amazing musically, but in many other ways as well.
Thank you Julian! That's a really good question. The reason why I chose this song is mainly because of the awesome rhythmic patters Eminem uses in his lyrics. They're really fun to play along with. The lyrics themselves don't offer me any motivation, per say, but the overall vibe did. I could sit here and take credit for anything you see or hear in the video but the truth is I did what I could with the help of some really great people. I had an idea of how I wanted the video to turn out and I asked a few others for help. Jeremy Tremp & Paul Vickery are really good at what they do. It's nice to have a good team of people working with you :)
