I felt the Ferrari California was an entry level Ferrari to be compared to a 911. This is the rare convertible that looks as good with the top down as with the top up. It is more accessible than the more rare Ferrari, as if you order one, you won’t have to wait more than 18 months. This may be 15% less than more racy Ferrari, but it is not entry level, when with options it’s easily over $325,000. You are correct that they have chosen to design it more like 1960 cars vs the rest of the lineup with swoops and vents. It’s a very beautiful and subtle Ferrari that is three times faster than any 1960 or 1970 Ferrari. You want entry level? Get a used Ferrari. You want a more expensive Ferrari, get the 12Cilindri.
The presenter showing the car should be enthusiastic and a potent driver showing off the cars capabilities rather than Pak Pak Pak Pak Pak Pak Pak Pak Pak talking the viewer to death like an uncle talking about the past

Great review. I have one on order. Though please note that the car does not offer a lifter.
What's a lifter?
