That’s precisely what I chose to do. I figured the update to the pro wasn’t really worth it just yet. So opted for the PSVR2 instead. The gaming experience is so different to flat screen. Plus you get loads of VR games on the premium subscription and loads of VR games are so cheap on the store with sales. Plus some games like res evil 8 and 4 offer free upgrades.
@ My fave games so far that I own are GT7, Subside, Synapse, Red Matter 1 & 2, Resident evil 8, Legendary Tales and No Mans Sky. I have many others bought up in the sales but not had chance to play them properly.
@ I bought the Globular Cluster, and what a difference it makes! The PSVR2 was incredibly uncomfortable, and oh my,such terrible headaches! But now, with the Globular Cluster, it’s a game changer! I can play for 4-5 hours without any issues. It’s absolutely worth it! I also purchased a few lenses on Temu called the Devaso Lens Protectors. They have a bluish tint that really helps reduce eye strain, and their quality is excellent. Additionally, I got a black silicone case for the all psvr unit, which is very useful for preventing scratches and accidental bumps against the controllers. It happens sometimes! Also few silicon transparent case for controllers always temu or aliexpress. Lastly, I’d recommend getting a magnetic face mask replacement. It allows you to easily swap between a few silicone face masks and keep them clean. Overall, this setup has made my gaming experience so much better! But ye quality wise those lenses compare to pancake lenses are much better on dark enviroments where you holdin a torch or a candle! More immersive! So far the best vr i ever truly tested! And i did test alot! Haptic feedback is unbelievable!!!
I am having a blast with my PSVR2, i really really love it, Into the Radius is pure gold as is No mans sky. Sure, chances are it won’t get supported any longer by Sony, but there are very good games to be played. When the Quest 4 cones out in 26 then i’ll switch, for now am am thoroughly enjoying my PSVR2!! VR rocks!
What about psvr2 for the PC use? I'm definitely interested in it over other meta quest3. I haven't jump on yet, mainly due to the lack of time to play games. I got to see the what the prices are like for the new release of the rtx 5000, because you really need high specs for pcvr gaming. Vr hardware is expensive just to play some good games. Maybe we will see a price drop on the Sony hardware this year in 2025. Well some mix reality headsets are coming out for the PC, could be a vidable option as well. Can't wait till next gen vr headsets come out with 4k resolution in each eye. Couple more years for that, but its still a tough sell due to price and hardware needed to push those resolutions.
@@oneanother1 It’s funny you mentioned the rtx 5000 series. I'm currently waiting for CES to see what Nvidia and AMD are bringing to the table this gen.
@riobartes1917 higher fidelity gaming for a clearer image requires a much stronger GPU, because you are pushing 2x 2k panels. Where as gaming only requires 1080p on a single monitor. Bare minimum is a 3090, to run all your 2d games in vr.
I got a new one free so I tried it. Not impressed. The controllers are bulky and hard to grab properly if you let go of them while playing. The graphics are okay at best. The headset makes you sweat a lot and is not very comfortable. The Quest 3 is superior in many ways to this.
@@DissTrackTed no, I would gladly pay what they sell for on sale if Sony would put more effort in supporting it. But, its already a damned product because it never lived up to the hype it generated during launch. Sony has completely abandoned it, and the ps5pro be damned too. Its cool they have PC support though, which was a last ditch effort to sell more units. The headset itself is las gen, if they pancake lenses in there then it could have been more future proof. Its just disappointing all around. Oh well, maybe wait another year to see if they do something with it.
Yes i brought it the same day the PS5PRO release, and i still have my PlaystationVR 1

Oh and I like Phasmophobia too but need to pluck up courage to play that one 😂
@@FizzWizard Play it in coop and it will become hilarious 😂
Into the radius is a no brainer as well!
I do not even watch the video but yes mate i faken bought it and i cannot stop playing!!!!!
Is it okay as far as a sweet spot or did you buy that global cluster thing?

An rtx 3050 and a quest 2 for pc vr works i have tried it and now problems what so ever

Image is clare enough, like i said no problem what so ever using i7 9700, 32gb.
OLED itself is worth to buy.
It has its advantages and disadvantages
But the blurry reprojection be killing me
@@WorldHayes-VR I have the PS5 Pro and it's better on the Pro. It's the grainy look that the future VR needs to improve on.
If Sony just upgrades res7 ,ace combat 7 for PSVR2
And rigs Mechanized Combat League

When I can get one for $150-$200, I will give it a try. I won't be surprised if I find one later this year.
It's dead, Jim.
If it dies, it's only because of the bottom-of-the-barrel bargain bin hunters like you. Cost/worth be damned. Want everything for literal peanuts.

Don't buy a psvr2 it's limited quest is so far better for consumers it's also a multiplayer incentive were psvr2 is single user
To expand on this, OLED only gives you vibrant colors but not a sharper image like quest 3 does with its pancake lenses.
