The day Playstation moved its headquarters from Japan to USA, I had a feeling corporate greed would overshadow quality and giving people what they want.
The amount of canceled games is fucking crazy... People say PS5 has no games and this is one of the reasons why. I still like Sony and most of the stuff they're doing. But they're really dropping the ball this time, horribly.
For me it's good that they realyzed live service is not the way to go. I'm still very happy with my PS5 and PSVR2. I think it's normal that companies try new ways to earn money and when it doesn't work they try something else. When Playstation is already fucked like you said, what is with Xbox? Their situation is much worse. I think as well that Playstation could be in a much better situation right now but some wrong decisions don't mean PS5 is fucked or doomed. Just my opinion.
@@MartinSchmuckVR They should have never invested this much in live-service. Their output this generation hasn't been great and it's going to get even worse. Ultimately PlayStation will survive and the PS6 should be fine, but this gen has been incredibly disappointing. About Xbox, if we're talking about the console then it's not just fucked, it's dead. However, as a third party publisher they're now doing better than ever.
Imagine if they put a fraction of that money into vr games. Drives me insane...
