- Dune Part 2 review. Dune part 2 is the second part to the first Dune film released in 2021 starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and more. Dune part 2 made me feel a way I haven't felt in a really long time watching movies, here's my review of Dune Part 2.

This movie mad me feel a way I haven't felt in a long time watching movies. What did you think of it?
I recently heard someone say Hollywood entertaining people is the biggest illusion. I sort of believe that but some movies entertain. Others seem to push an ideology and a different way of thinking about things.
It’s so refreshing to see a movie where they care about the final product, and not just focused on profit like so many other big movie franchises have done recently. One of the few times I’ve walked out of a theater saying to myself “wow”
Easily the best project I've seen in recent years. I was kinda lost in first 15-25 minutes, but then it's just mind boggling
The reviews have been great for Dune can’t wait to watch it
I actually like how they steamrolled them at the end, it’s going to fit perfectly with what dune 3 is going to do in my opinion.
I have agree with your thoughts about the first half could have been shorter and the second half longer. That second half was so intense! I needed more of it!
Didn’t watch it because movies nowadays are not good. Thanks for this review though. I heard another review where the person was bored but understood why fans of the books would like this movie. What you showed visually of the movie looks spectacular. I think the more recent movie that was raved to be this good visually was the Avatar films.
I didn't like part one either and didn't expect much for part two but I'm glad I was wrong, it was amazing.

Not saying your opinion is wrong, but I thought the first was way better than the second. Part 2 was good, but sloppier, with inconsistent characters, a rushed ending, and little actual conflict, or obstruction to what Paul was trying to do. The second he and the Freman decided they were going to kick the Imperium’s butt, they did, and it didn’t even look particularly hard. I don’t think a single Freman is shown dying in the final fight.
I can agree with you about the Freman because that's what I was referring to when I meant the ending just felt "easy" lol
I thought 1 was great.. 2 was absolutely Phenomenal!! The book says the end battle was quick. To clarify.. they only had 200 men in the north which is why they were told to go south.. where they had 1 million. Then they found out they the nukes. To me.. you can easily put this in as 1 of the greatest movies ever made.
the timeline of the events in the movie happened in a span of a few months vs the book version where it took along a few years. That's how that army built up properly and well organised. You're right to expose that it looked an easy battle!
I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the third.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I didn't get around to watching Part One for the first time until a few weeks ago and now I'm sad I'll have to wait probably at least two years for the next one. Maybe I'll get around to reading the book someday.

I'm with u, I hated the 1st movie. The 2nd movie was waayyyy better. My most favorite part was the guys with the suits "floating up & down the ships. When I saw that, I wondered how they did it. I'm looking forward to Dune 3.
It didn't improve anything it is what it is and what it was since the beginning.
I felt Dune Part 1 was boring back in 2021, u should probably go back and rewatch Dune Part 1 after u just saw Dune Part 2
