I got my hub working for my 2018 Dell XPS 15 by right clicking the Thunderbolt Software logo -> Approve attached devices -> port 1 -> changed dropdown to "always connect"

Sadly my thunderbolt controller "fried" after updating windows. Dch or legacy drivers no longer recognize the controller. The driver pops in for about 30 seconds after I wake laptop up from sleep. Installing DCH driver says "failed" even from a fresh reinstall of windows.

Is this the reason why Thunderbolt devices have stopped working on windows 10? My Uad Apollo twin mkii has been working with windows for over 7 years now and all the sudden it won’t work, it won’t even work on my new rog Asus Maximus z690 hero Wi-Fi witch has usb c Thunderbolt ports, I’m so frustrated like heck.

I Heard this is a piece of Crap specially if you installed the Titan Ridge Card to Run UAD

UAD is a piece of crap for Windows. The only support ASIO, no WDM - so it is invisible to the OS. And they don't plan on supporting WDM any time soon.

@@Zarabozo I installed this software and had to revert back to the old (thuderbolt) software version. UAD is nice bro! The only thing is that the converter sucks... that is why I am getting a RME analog AD/DA... to rewire back into the apollo via ADAT.

I try Titan ridge with my Apple Thunderbolt Display ,it’s not compatible,I bought Alpine ridge z390 asrock phantom gaming ITX ac when I plug monitor via original or startech TB3 to tb2 adapter I can see notification,when I selected alway connect ,monitor wasn’t power up and connecting status always not conected.I try all version bios and drivers and OS ,it’s not work .Are you have any idea ?

@@user-yl1zp5kp5k do not install this on the titan ridge hacked version it will not work. use the old one. I did a post on the universal audio UAD Forum. Check that out. I even put the drives u need up.

​@@LosFicosMusic Do you have a link maybe? I have a Asrock Taichi X570 board with the GC-Titan Ridge AIC 2.0 and a Apollo Twin MKII. It works with the latest default windows thunderbolt drivers (i guess DHC bcause it looks the same). But the problem is on cold boot or reboot the Apollo does not get automatically seen by Windows. I have to unplug and plug in the apollo for it to work. Pretty frustrating.
