The small Edinburgh Museum on Canongate is free of charge. I went there to see Bobby's collar and bowl ! I love Bobby's story. Places I didn't have time to visit: Dean village and Portobello beach.
@@hermione8253 I’ll check it out! I walked around their courtyard once but have never gone in, I will now ☺️ I’m not cheap, but rather of limited means 😃
Perfect place for a rainy day ! That was interesting, very eclectic museum. I've visited the Edinburgh Dungeon, the Britannia Yacht and the Surgeons Hall Museum, but they're not free of charge.
Thank you! I haven’t visited any of the ones you mentioned, I’m a big fan of free activities. What’s the museum situation like in your country and do you have to pay there?
@@indexbot Well, I must say I haven't visited many museums in my own country (Switzerland), shame on me ! 😅I think you have to pay for most of them, but some are free of charge.
Your tour of the Museum brought back many memories, used to frequent this place back in the days, either with my pals or in the past few years with my family, but sadly now especially with living out of town and not having transport it's become a trifle difficult, still your video brought it all back. Also I have never seen it so busy, plus many changes have obviously been made in the time, great stuff anyhow.😊
Hiya, I never got to see the fishponds in the great hall, I believe they were removed in 2008. I would have liked to see them! Can you remember what type of fish they had in them?
Thank you for watching my video. Do you have a favourite museum or exhibit that you like to visit? I’d love to hear about it 😃
