    you can also practice this trick on flat ground without the parking block if you want to work your way up to doing it over things. great video on a very fun trick.

    That’s a great trick. I saw another video where the skater said to let the skateboard hit the inner thigh instead of letting it smash into the knee

    Wow! I can't wait to try this or at least try some no complies on flat. I've never really tried them much. Thanks for the tutorial and the great angles to I can see what each foot is doing. 👍

      Thank you so very much for the kind words, and I’m always happy to share the Stoke of skateboarding. This trick brings back memories of Powell Peralta’s video ‘Ban This” with Ray Barbie. Doing no complies everywhere.

    I think I watched this about 10 months ago and thought these seemed so far off. But, in the past month I have learned no comply 180s up curbs. First with the foot on the ground, then I managed to put my foot up onto the curb. I still kind of just step back on and push, rather than jumping back onto the board, but its still heaps of fun.
    I still can't even do a regular no comply, and this on a parking block seems difficult and I'm not sure I've got an appropriate parking block near me. Soon though.

      Thank you Magnus, the no compliant skateboarding manoeuvre is very fun indeed. I often wonder how it is possible for me to be a productive person within the society however I often am quite non-compliant within the norms of society with my love of Skateboarding.

    I've always been more concerned with the back foot than the front. Which may explain why I could never do this trick! Great explanation, I'm gonna go try it.

  • @DirtySk8RatStaney

    Nice video, but honestly your knee doesn’t have to hit the board…. And in fact most of the time it probably won’t. Not that it can’t be done that way, but usually just hitting the tail on the block will level it out enough.

    • @WarrenLeeds
      @WarrenLeeds  9 місяців тому +2

      I completely agree with you, I feel that when the skateboard hits your knee it reminds me of the way Ray Barbee did this manoeuvre in the video Public Domain.
