Thanks mate. I never thought about breaking it down like that. I can ollie up to flat no problem but landing down hill gives me the fear.

I think I'm leaning back, too much on the take off, causing the board to get ahead of me. I've been skating for years but I never skate park, that much. My good friend owns his own indoor park - it's professionally built, up to code, all that good stuff, open for business . it's got this steep box, sort of like a 3 sided pyramid with a flat, slanted top....it's just weird and huge. It's going to be really fun, once I get warmed up to it though. All of the stuff in the park is sort of intermediate to hard, there's some stuff for beginners to skate but it's like a pro training center.

I have been working on this a lot lately. Speed is definitely my issue. I lose a bit of control when I go fast enough to clear the top. I also open my shoulders too much. I will continue to work on this until it is clean.

My suggestion is not to worry about your speed and just trying to Ollie with your shoulders closed together and Ollie as far as you can. Overtime you will become comfortable with this and then it will be time to Ollie the fun box in its entirety. Oh Yeah 😊👍🛹
