Porpoising has a lots to do with weight distribution. You can get a tiller extension and you can sit more forward, this way the weight will be towards the bow and will solve your porpoising issue. Good luck!

Great video! You were saying your floor is leaking was that from factory? When the boat sits for a while do you find yourself adding air or does it hold pressure?

Hi, thank you and yes my floor leaks. It started last summer and I’m hoping Solar will step up and either fix it or replace it. They tried to fix it this winter and it hadn’t stopped leaking. It will go completely flat in 2 weeks. I know where the hole is but it is a place that is pretty much impossible to fix. See my previous videos. I know one thing it’s nothing I did wrong to cause it. I think it’s a design flaw. We will see how it’s handled in the future and I will be videoing the process. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, take care.

One thing to think about is that the trim maybe to bow high. I noticed you don't have power trim. Your bow is being pushed up to high. I think raising and lowering the unit is not gonna change to porpoising. The angle of the jet is what is causing the issues I believe. See if you can get the jet wash to point more into the water. Just my experience with jet boats with outboards. hope that helps. Also that sucks about the leak to. Anyways good luck and good job on vids . safe travels

Hi, I installed a tunnel extension and I ended up raising the engine above the tunnel. It’s works better now. I just have a little more fine tuning to do. You will see in the next video coming up. Thank you for all the tips and thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, take care. If you have any other tips let me know. 😊

I ran a Strizh 480 with a Yamaha 50/35 2 stroke - same deal lots of water over transom - bought a splash guard from Rob Bryce( Northern-jets) - the boat ran much better with zero water coming over transom - picked up 1-2 kph as well.

Hi Dave, I purchased a tunnel extension from Rob. I managed to fix that spray problem with some scrap UHMW and a pool noodle. Check out the next jet boat video and you’ll see. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, take care.
