they remind me of these twins called the 'silent twins'. they thought that they shared one soul. they wouldnt speak to anybody but eachother. until finally, in their 30s i think, one of them died and essentially 'freed' the other. a lesson to why twins should be taught individuality.

Taught is one thing. Forced an entirely different matter. I have known 2 sets of identical twins. The former ( children between 8 and 12) did everything they could to look different than their sister ( mother emphasised their twinness, probably just out of practicality, a low information background). The latter had fairly different personalities, but eagerly embraced their identical appearance ( and used it to get all sorts of advantage and cause mischief, as identical males in their late teens).

Once one was done, the other kept insisting that he wanted the same but the mum said no and wouldn’t budge even when the boy started crying. If their mother went overboard in treating them as separate people, to the extent of forbidding them to ever dress alike, their insistence on having everything in common may be a case of severe psychological whiplash. What would've otherwise been a healthy amount of wanting to share things was never indulged, so maybe it just accumulated as if in a pressure cooker until, as soon as it could, it came out with a pathological vengeance.

That's really annoying me. Obviously they need more significant psychological help, but there is a solution to wanting to be pregnant together.

OK, so I get that they tried the "the one kid would be both of yours" thing, but the way they are I feel one being pregnant while the other was not would have set them off, also egg donation is a thing, a better sell would have been "you CAN both be pregnant at the same time if you keep the one healthy ovary and do egg donation" since it was only the ovary and not the womb that was being removed.

They are teenagers now, but even their parents don’t know who is who when they’re looking at old pictures and the girls aren’t wearing their signature colour. One always had pink och then other one had red on. It’s easy to tell them apart now. They have different hair styles and dress differently, and their personalities is a dead giveaway 😄

There were identical twins in America who didn't speak until their early 30s when one died. They had a pact that if one died the other was to live a normal life.
Also, in Britain there were the twins Ursula and Sabrina and I think they feature on an episode of traffic cops. One of them killed someone and was jailed, the other was committed. After they both got released they went back to Sweden
