- The reason I wanted this lens was to be able to recreate the soft dreamy look of old film. There's something romantic about its unique aesthetic that cannot be reproduced by post processing. Nothing beats the authentic.

Just ordered one! So excited.
I did this, but when I wanted to screw the body back, I realized that my lens doesn't have a quality seal on it.
It took me quite some time to get the two pieces together again in the right way.
If you want to do this, make sure to mark the position of the two pieces.

thank you this now works on my full frame nikonD600 without making half the photo black and with the fisheye attachment it looks like it is going to work better too I had such a hard time using it without the mod. even during the day
i think i will do this hack once i get the lens
