    Great video.
    The focusing trick would be easier in the B setting.

    The trick of hiding half of the film advance window is genius! Thanks.

    You can also use ND filters to control the exposure in Colour and B&W. In B&W you can also use Yellow/Orange & Red filters to control exposure and contrast.

      I use TR-X 400 with a yellow filter for perfect sunny conditions. Add a flash fill for shaded subjects and get perfect exposures all the time.

    Interesting video. As an alternative to changing film to change ISO and thereby control exposure, you can push or pull the film you have on hand to the desired speed and develop accordingly.

    Is spray painting the inside really that necessary? If you got the 6x6 mask, does it help lower reflections? Great video!

    Hi! Great review, thank you so much!
    What I am not sure it’s how you know about the frame number if you cover the window? I have enough trouble seeing through it… Thank you 🙏

    I have one of the variants of the Time Magazine camera. Would the ISO settings shown here also apply to my camera? Thanks.

    But if you just tape the half of the back window the light will enter during the rewind process right?

      You don´t rewind. It´s 120 film. It goes from one spool to the other.

    Mine came with 2 inserts for the film size... Mine came with a 12 frame mask and a 16 frame mask.... in other video i watched it also said you could not put any mask in and get even a larger image.... however.. i have the 120N... not sure if that is the difference?!?!?

    It seems so difficult to balance a picture 😅

    Can I adjust the iso and f if I am using a holga 120n? And how?

    • @RobertBarney
      @RobertBarney 8 років тому +2

      +Sammy Liu Your ISO is controlled by the actual film you load. The f-stop is "controlled" by a selector. But this is not very exact

    A. Put a film in it.
