    It totally worked for me! 😃Thank you so much for taking your time to make this video.
    I even did the vise trick. I had first tried it without using my vise and it was so tight that I was worried I’d either break the tool (that i got from Amazon) or break my knuckles on the hub and sprockets.
    So I did what you demonstrated and it worked great!
    Even when using the vise and the wheel for leverage, it felt extremely tight.
    I had my 10 year old son hang out with me and work on it with me because i wanted him to learn about working on his bike.
    It was a fun thing to do together. And he enjoyed working on it together too. So I just wanted to make sure to thank you again for giving us something to do together and explaining the proper way to remove one of these.
    You’re awesome man.

    Question:can a mountain bike magrim ring nut be removed?

      I don't know what a "magrim ring nut" is.

      @@BikeGremlinUS ok its the part on which the sprocket is screwed onto in a non-casette, old style hub.

      @BikeGremlinUS  Рік тому

      @@ramnaracemotilal265 All such hubs I've seen had the cassette mounting threads cut into the hub's body - not a removable part (as far as I know).

      @@BikeGremlinUS but freehubs, i.e. the cassette style hubs can be disassembled down to the nut (ringnut) on which the freehub is screwd into, and on which the cassette's are mounted, correct?

      @BikeGremlinUS  Рік тому

      @@ramnaracemotilal265 Yes - freehub can be removed and disassembled.

      If it helps:
      Automatically generated subtitles for English can be turned on.
      Also, playback speed can be set to 0.75 or even 0.5 for any UA-cam video (the voice is a bit deeper, but it's definitely slower).

      Važno je potrefiti ispravan smer i, ako je jako zapeklo, imati dovoljno dugačku polugu.
