Excellent ideas. One word of caution. I learned this the hard way a few weeks ago. I accidentally knocked my Les Paul guitar off its stand and seriously cracked the neck. Because I needed the adhesive to flow all the way into the cracks, I decided to use super glue because of its water-link consistency. I used a 3ml hypodermic syringe with 18 gauge needle which I filled with the super glue so that I could inject the glue deeply into the crack. I intentionally used a lot of glue hoping it would ooze out. I immediately attached the clamps to hold the neck back together tightly with the intention of wiping off the excess glue. At that very moment, I discovered how noxious the fumes are when using that much superglue. I couldn't breathe around it and it immediately left my eyes burning severely. Consequently, I wasn't able to rub off the excess glue which meant I had a lot of unnecessary sanding to do once everything set up. The next time I work with that much super glue, I'll wear a respirator and eye protection.

This idea to use graphite with baking soda will be great. I'm in drag racing rc, and you need to stiff the arm to make less flexible. This idea will help a lot and don't need to spend to much metal with I can make the arm more durable and stronger for fraction of the cost

Toen bewogen ze de vingertoppen in een wrijvende beweging en na korte tijd konden ze de vingertoppen van elkaar halen 😅 😊. Hi guys iron filings and super glue make a strong mixture i repaired my battery tray on my car on the plastic around the nut that was set into the tray and not holding the battery at all. Clamped down the battery gently and it secured the battery, that was around 6 years ago and the battery is still held in place ,no movement.

A little fan beside your work area blows the fumes away nicely.
Use glasses when handling glue . Don't inhale .

Mixing baking soda and graphite powder can enhance the texture and color of the adhesive. It can also improve adhesion in some applications!
These glues could be used to make all kinds of theatrical masks Halloween, party hats, , could be very creative for many things not just repairs.

Graphene powder is the same powder from the pencil... right?
@@elauxiliarx No. That's Graphite. They're similar. Graphene is a newer discovered substance, and has waaaaaaaay stronger properties.
