Liquid Plastic DIY! I Fixed Broken Plastic Part with a Super Simple Method

- In this video, I'll show you a simple and effective method how I fixed a broken plastic refrigerator shelf using materials many of you already have at home.
Liquefying ABS Plastic:
How to prepare a liquid plastic at home?
Break the CD box into small pieces and place them into the small container. 💿➕🥣
Pour acetone over the plastic pieces, just enough to cover them. 🧪
Wait for the plastic to dissolve, stirring occasionally to help the process. This creates a thick, glue-like substance. 🔄
Applying the Liquid Plastic:
Using the applicator, carefully apply the liquid ABS plastic to the broken edge of the broken plastic item. 🖌️
Allow the repair to dry and cure completely.
Be cautious when working with acetone as it is a strong solvent! Ensure good ventilation and avoid direct skin contact! ⚠️
Testing the Repair:
Once dried, reattach the shelf to the refrigerator door. 🚪🧊
Gently test the stability of the repair to make sure it can hold the weight of items. ✔️
By following these simple steps, you can save money and extend the life of your refrigerator shelf. No need to buy a new one when you can fix it yourself with ABS plastic and acetone!

You can melt plastic with soldering iron (with long tip to reduce heat) and shape it to what you like .save your time🎉

Дело в том, что эти пластики разного типа и как только растворяемый пластик высыхает и затвердевает, он сразу же отстает от пластика, из которого сделан шприц

В советские времена делали такой кллей, брали шарики от пинпонга или неволяшки. Но недавно у меня кончились запасы ацетона и я купил того де производителя, дзержинский, но он даже пористый полистирол не размягчает, только краску разбавляет. А еще хорошо клеит дихлоритан.
Возможно, концентрация вашего нового ацетона не 100%
Сейчас так называемый ацетон даже грунтовку на растворяет.
Надо искать качественный продукт сейчас

la acetona, lo ablanda, pero no lo disuelve. hay un disolvente para P.V.C. para hacer adhesivo, que facilitaria la tarea, pegando un trocito de esa cubierta del C.D.😊

Можно взять паяльник расплющить жало кусочки пластмассы и кусочки скрепок для арматуры утопить для связки и крепости прекрасно получается пробуйте
С этим пластиком в холодильнике не прокатит . Лопнет под нагрузкой .
Он не плавкий .обычный Клей отлетает при холоде с этого пластика .
Тут только делать отдельный подкаркас (допустим из акрила/жести итд ) и в него вставлять поломанную сторону полки ..
В ролике тоже показан странный вариант работ .как-то легко обрабатывает ...сомнения в надёжности .
Лично ( в морозилке )скрепил подобное армо скотчем ..уже как полгода .. но думаю попробовать жидким пенопластом залить .( Также до сопель растворить в ацетоне )
Но все ровно желательно перфорировать стенку . Чтоб новый компонент соединился . затикая в перфорацию. со старым .
@@rodrof6754 Я именно в холодильнике и морозильнике клею всё обычным клеевым пистолетом. Холод придаёт этому материалу нереальную прочность
Гораздо проще за 4 минуты термо клеем починить 🤝

Nail polish remover is based on acetone, but it does not have 100% concentration. It's not possible to liquefy ABS plastic with it. Acetone with 100% concentration can be bought at construction materials store, in a department where solvents are sold
Estéticamente no queda bien,los tomates no deben meterse en la nevera,tan solo un rato antes de consumir, pues sino se estropean 😢

Per me la siringa con l acetone si scioglie e lo stantuffo si blocca ...ci sono tanti prodotti oggigiorno nei bricocenter
Molto probabilmente la tua siringa è fatta dello stesso materiale della plastica che vuoi liquefare. In questo caso è necessario utilizzare un contenitore di vetro, ad esempio un barattolo

Danke für deine Meinung. Der Kunststoff, den ich zur Reparatur verwendet habe, ist nicht gerissen. Es kommt zu einer Farbveränderung, die jedoch nicht kritisch ist. Möglicherweise weist das Teil selbst noch Risse auf, diese können aber auch auf ähnliche Weise repariert werden

I can not agree with you, this is a real life problem, every home owner can face. So I did. The shelf is in a working position now with a minimum resources and time spent on repair. I wander, how would you solve such a problem??? An option of buying a new refrigerator can not be accepted!
