I would highly advise you to not go for motul, instead go for Liqui molly or motorex or petronas Amsoiletc. as that 300v2 is a racing focused oil, meant to be ridden with less heat cycles and breaks down very fast to protect the engine at red line. just my two cents. please look into the other oils i have mentioned above.
Was just gonna say this... the 300V is really good for extreme performance but only upto 2-2.5k kms beyond which it starts breaking down. Not suggested for city or normal use. Definitely not beyond 3k kms. Either motul 7100s for city use or as suggested by @Pratham40s
Motul 300v is highly not recommended unless and until you're not riding it on track or on high rpm's all the time. 300v fails to protect engine in stop and go traffic all the time. My engine got busted a few years back because of 300v and after researching only i could conclude the culprit was 300v. I'm using Castrol power 1 10w50 in my daytona 675r as it's the recommended oil from triumph itself and so far bike have already clocked 47k on dash, gone through 2 major services as well no issues. I would recommend you to stick to the manufacturer recommended oil only.
Bro, You already done your free service right y not you should explore some after market things like air filter and oil filter. Let us know how much of cost difference from showroom and aftermarket and what are the spare parts which is available.
Yes Aprilia is still new and exotic to india. Believe it or not many motorcycle workshops don't know much about my jawa perak. Also warranty gets void if you service your bike outside the brand's service center.
@@JH09SUMIT Have you never heard about Aprilia spares system with showroom and they won’t provide the spares out side the show room but we have options with KTM and other brands and just think what if the show room will put you on the long waiting period due to high volume slots already booked so you can’t only depend the showrooms right that’s y I ask to check for any out source of spares.
@@AnotherRahul1601 yes but warranty won’t cover if you done any engine works only. And what iam suggesting. Just check for general status of spare outsource coz we can’t always depending the showroom.
3:24 bro color of oil is not matters you should watch big bear customs reel color will turn black even after 200 km because there will always be 200-300ml in engine even you completely drain so dont go with color just remember how many km you have driven and level of oil
Oil color does matter it means the additives are breaking down .. any oil left during an oil change is in the oil pan just dump some oil in after the drain until clean oil comes out.. I would run amsoil mobil one motul or another FULL synthetic.. You can feel the difference in the gear box..
4:21 brother go for motul 300v eyes closed. It will be an absolute beast. I really want to see someone trying it on 457 how it performs. I have said this in your first service as well
Bro, do you remember, you told me why you didn't buy a bigger bike but a sub 500cc twin? It was mostly because of high maintenance cost that comes along with it, bigger bikes bigger maintenance costs. Now it seems the RS457 is almost consuming like a bigger bike and it'll be even more when paid services will begin.
Just remember one thing while buying the bike keep 1 lakh extra for the maintenance, you will not feel the pinch in maintaining this bike for 3 years atleast.
Take a journey, and see how much does it take to maintain a superbike( middle weight and above) for 1 year covering 10k kms per year. I think this might shift your mindset.
Change the oil filter ... EVERYTIME .. I have put 25 Thousand miles on a motorcycle in ONE year Change the oil filter it does not cost that much. .. Oil is the Blood of the bike.. Also a clean airfilter is very important to reduce carbon build up- LOVE your videos I SUBScribed !!
Bro, Get the oil filter/engine oil replaced at every service. Manufacturers say a lot of things in owners manual. Not all of those are right. Don't clog your bike's heart. You can take chances with air filter/chain but not with oil & filters.
Hey man, First off , thank you for the very informative content that you make. I had a quick question for you. Aprilia recently announced that the price will be hiked by 10k from Jan. For someone who has been waiting patiently for the second iteration to come out hoping the minor kinks(like braking, weight distribution issue leading to leaning, slightly cheaped out switch gear) would be resolved, does it make sense to pull the trigger and go for it this month itself or continue waiting for the next iteration?
I'm planning on buying this bike and want to know the running cost of it. I have made a small calculation, can you please check. If we assume a mileage of 20kmpl, the Rs.5 per km for fuel, around Re.1 for service maintenance, if I change brake pads at intervals of 6000km and if they cost 3000, then 0.5 rupees for brake pads and around 0.5-2 rupees for tires, 0.5 is for stock tires and if you upgrade then it'll cost more, and for other parts maybe around Re.1 per km? So, according to me it'll cost 5+1+0.5+0.5+1=8 to maintain this bike(Taking into consideration of other unaccounted mishaps or maintenances i'll assume it to cost Rs.10 per km). If there's anything else to add, please let me know.
Hey Prakash. Thanks for sharing the info. Just wanted to know how the performance of rs457 compares that to duke 390, 2017 model. Is it a substantial and noticeable difference or not?
why are you asking such a question? No bike will lose power after 2nd/3rd service, unless the servicing agent does some extra curricular activity on your bike.
Hie bro like duke 390 front brake pads would fit this bike which only cost around 2k can you suggest what else like consumables and other spare parts can be fit from other same segment bikes so that this bike can be affordable in maintanance
Chain sprocket gone too soon, even air filter was replaced very early. Now i am rethinking whether to get one or not i can pay the upfront cost but service and spares will be a hectic for me, but there are no good affordable sub 500cc bikes till now (ninja 500 is costly), need other alternatives to launch good bikes under this category, Honda is sleeping and even if they bring their bikes their cost are unevenly priced.

Yes, also oils change colour when they heat up.
Am not just talking about the color, the oil had become alot impure, like it had alot of metal residues, which means the oil lost all its viscosity

Sir kindly help me ...Which is more reliable for min 5 years gt 650 or aprilia rs 457 ?
City milage and highway milage? Is there any issue about the low ground clearance? Because i want to buy tuano 457

Why not changing the exhaust ?
Your videos are awesome bro
Any issues with the engine till now? I'm planning to go for the tuono 😁
No issues with the engine whatsoever

Any plans on upgrading the exhaust??
This vs duke 390 2024???
do you know if they will come with a 2025 revision for RS 457 or it will be the same model as 2024?
Clutch plates 4500
Chain sprocket may be 4500 also

You need to add Chain sprocket cost as well which costs 7000 and lasts for 15k Kms, so 0.5 rupees for this
Yeah, 10 rupees per km is reasonable
And also own damage insurance cost which you need to buy every year, that will be yearly not based in number of KM
@@prakashsuraj6495 Thank you. How much does insurance cost for this bike?
Heard someone first time replacing castrol with motul. 😅
Hey Prakash. Thanks for sharing the info. Just wanted to know how the performance of rs457 compares that to duke 390, 2017 model. Is it a substantial and noticeable difference or not?
Its more powerful than the 390 and much more refined because it is 2 cylinder
Rs 457 is way more powerful and refined than the duke 390
Hi bhai have you faced any power lag in initial gears? Like the performance is dropped after 2nd service and 3rd? Many customers are facing this
why are you asking such a question? No bike will lose power after 2nd/3rd service, unless the servicing agent does some extra curricular activity on your bike.
@gtsishere i asked because people have faced such issues. And compression leak problems too.
so ktm parts are cheaper than aprila

The air filter is very different for this bike, does not match with any other bike, not sure about the oil fiter will have to check that.
Brilliant question
Bro, Can you please tell me that aprillia 457's have handle issues which automatically move to the left.
It might be punishment to you but pleasure to me - completely agree with that statement. It's punishment to many of them - can't explain to them...
Yeah bro 😊
bro nice watch... which brand?
Thanks bro, it's a Galaxy watch 5 LTE

Bro I'm planning to buy tuono 457 but haven't started buying my own bread so I'm hesitating currently using moped
Test drive it before buying, you will get the answer
Bro vibrations?
No bro, slight vibration is there which adds to the character of the engine, not a deal breaker
Bro you have driven a lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥 safe tidings
Bro oil filter doesn't need to clean it's replaced always when you change engine oil, 😂😂😂
