We have all seen the latest crochet craze to take over the internet, the JW Anderson patchwork cardigan made for Harry Styles. This is my take on it. You all know I love texture so of course it had to be added to this cardigan!
Materials needed:
Bulky/weight 5/chunky yarn
6 mm hook
Buttons.

I DID IT!!! @The whole reason I learnt crochet was to make this!
I used an entire weight 4 Lion Brand pound of Love (and a quarter of another skein) with 6mm hook. It took me 1.5 weeks to make. Left out the collar and changed the ribbing but it came out SUPER cute😍.
I'm 5,1 90lbs and this tutorial size fit me perfectly oversized. It also fit my sisters and mother who are waaay bigger than me.
I love it and I'm up for even crazier textured patterns:)
These textured stitches always intimidated me in the past, but you explain it so well it looks almost easy! Thanks for the pattern

I really love the beautiful patterns, the choice of color and the fact that you made it in one color with different patterns are absolutely beautiful and classy. This is really so beautiful. I’m like pre beginner, haven’t started even practicing yet but I def wanna make one of these for my husband. The kooky colors are gorgeous and fun, but I gotta be honest, sometimes simple and neutral is the way to go.

Finally finished my cardigan!! Took me several months 🥲 I used chunky yarn so it's a bit heavy but it's soooo cozy and warm 😍 I also used one pattern for all the squares and used 3 different colours. thank you for the tutorial!!

I had been wanting to create the Harry styles cardigan...but hadn’t really gotten around to it...then I saw yours! I’ve only made blankets so this is great project to learn to make a cardigan AND practice new stitches!thank you so much for this! I’ve made at least one of each square and have 5 hdc squares already! Thank you for different sizing guide! ❤️

This looks like a wonderful project for all skill levels, as well as a "portable" project by making squares to attach together (I need to LEARN HOW to attach pieces lol)

Thank you for your time in making this cardigan for us I do however wish there was more instructions shown on attaching the collar and sleeve cuffs and the front hdc button and button holes panels and the ribbed stitch for along the bottom part of the cardigan

This is great idea. I have done Harry Styles Cardigan - massive work mainly that it goes all in separate pieces. I was thinking making sweater with different patterns, your patterns fits very well together. I love that you value our time - your videos are quick and easy. Thank you

@@bigsistahtips hello, i live in Turkey so yarns can be different but I used 7 balls with 5 mm hook. Yarns (each) were 100 gr and 240 meters :)

So glad I found your channel!!! I really prefer your pattern to the original sweater. I’m super found of highly textured sweaters, and I like that your pattern is made to be one color. I just could not wrap my mind around wearing the original color way- I referred to it as the Harry styles parrot sweater- it was not for me. I’m purchasing my yarn right now to do your version. This would even be cute as a patchwork monochromatic look.
I made this in brown color using yak wool. I left some of my yarn undone so you know people can tell I made it lol. Recently I was shopping swimsuit and the salesgirl asked me if I can make one for her or exchange it with swimsuit! Of course I didn’t exchange but I left super happy and proud. 😁😁 Thank you so much!
