For this masterpiece I needed :

Around 1000 metres of coton yarn, 3-4 (a bit smaller than the one Carrie used but I wanted it lighter!)
The whole piece weight 690g !

I just made this again but made it longer so it covers my butt and it’s oversized and so cozy. I always recommend your cardigan tutorials when people say they want to make one but aren’t sure if it’s above their skill level. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

They all fit great except one, had to shorten the sleeves because her arms are short....otherwise they were .very very nice. I really appreciate your patterns and you make it all look so easy. Before I watched your videos I never had the guts to make a sweater....so now I am a pro!!! Thank you Carrie and I am looking forward to your next tutorial.

I'm new to this channel but please just let me tell you how much I love you ❤️ I'm from Sweden and there's not a lot of crochet tutorials in both Swedish and English. I love the quality of your work and how clear it is. I like when I know the nr of stiches especially when increase so I can find the middle for example or make a chart so I know what to expect. I'll most likely start university soon so I want to make some things for my mom.
would love a more detailed description box with the things you used weight of the yarn and thickness how many it too etc or even how much the garment weights so I can count how much yarn it will take. Just details that makes ones life easier especially as a beginner.
I needed around 1000 metres for the whole piece, coton 3-4, i used small balls so i cant tell you exactly how many you'll need, but it may give you (or someone else ?) an idea ☺️💗

New to your channel, great tutorial
Hi Carrie, I have encountered some sort of error in this project and I just wanted to ask and confirm with you how I can fix it. The patterns are incredible and the sweater is so easy to make. I have finished with the back panel, and front panels. But as I make the sleeves, I notice that one side of the sleeves is extending out to a longer direction and curve compared to the other angle. The angle where I make the increases for the heringbone double crochet is where the sleeves are extending out more and both sides of the sleeves dont seem equal. I've tried doing this multiple times and made sure I was doing the right stitch but still, this error still happens. It would be great if you could give me a reason for this and how I can work my way around this problem, best regards. I am using velvet yarn btw.

Will this work with regular double crochet? I just don't like making the herringbone. Or would a linked double crochet work better?

Hi there. I have started this pattern. I am on the sleeve portion. I am making my sleeves and have crocheted 29 rows and it is measuring 19” already. Should I frog a few rows and do a few rows without the increase to make this look right? I’m work on a small size I’m not sure if knowing that will help. Thanks!

Hi Hey Carrie, If I want to make a Medium and I am following the pattern on your website but I want to make it longer do I just make the length longer or will that throw anything in the pattern out. I want to make it to my knees but the pattern length just covers my bum.
I’m almost done with this sweater going along the whole inside of the sweater with single stitch before the inside ribbing. I’ve had to frog it 3 times. Are the stitches just 53 like the panel length or 2 stitches per herringbone coming up with more
I'm not sure if I will be helpful or right but here goes. I just finished this cardigan. I didn't count the single crochets ( didn't even know I should or shouldn't have😯). I have completed it and it looks really good. I just spaced sc along, about one per herringbone. I felt like they may have been too far apart When I was doing them but making things in the past, I didn't want it to have too many. Too many and it will not lay nicely. Good luck!
