Amrut Fusion is definitely wonderful! It can hold its own with a boat load if well known, respected Scotches. The price is also very reasonable and lower than a majority of them.
I rolled thru Louisville yesterday on my way home and this was not yet available in bottle or bar. Only in Bardstown. They said it's expected in the next couple of weeks. A simple FYI to those looking for it.
If you don't love ryes I would recommend trying before buying then. But for example I have let two people try it who don't love ryes and both have enjoyed it!
Yeah as long as they have I would think they have it on the bar. I would think by then with it being open for a couple of weeks it should settle in nicely
I can appreciate the age of the whiskeys they are using but at the same time msrp 159.99 for a blend is hard to substantiate. When msrp on Michters 10 is 190 and how special that is it’s just getting hard for me to fork out 160$ a bottle for lesser stuff
No, I am not paying 170 🪣 for a single bottle random blended whiskey. It's just stupid paying that kind of money for a 750ml alcohol. It's not even special. People around me probably won't even recognize BBC (or bottle itself); I would rather buy something more recognized worldwide - Balvenie, Ballantine's, Macallan, Yamazaki, Kavalan, etc. for special occasions.
@@BLYKMYK44 I, myself, buy whisk(e)y for special occasions only. Yes, whisk(e)y for celebration because I usually don’t spend that much money for alcohol. And yes, when I need a bottle for celebration, I take well-known brands with reasonable price (usually less than 150). Although I understand people’s interests may differ, paying almost 200 or more for a bottle of 750ml alcohol is just nuts. Especially for those who drink that kind of whisk(e)y a lot. I mean, I can’t imagine myself drinking that much alcohol without being alcoholics.
I guess I’m not sure I understand the critique. If you don’t like the bottle it makes sense to not pay the money. But assuming that a bottle with a brand name is more special or better is actually a really bad use of money. Don’t you want to spend your money on the stuff that tastes the best?
@@BLYKMYK44 Why would you spend that much money for something you don’t know? Because people say it’s good? Because the brand has been releasing good products? Not a big fan of hype, FOMO, tater, etc. Maybe a bottle is ok. I am def not buying every single allocated or premium that I don’t know if they are really good or not. It’s all hype.

Just came back from 1st trip to TN/KY. Stopped @ BT & 4 Roses. Great time
As seasoned Bourbon drinkers I think you all would enjoy Amrut Fusion. Maybe the port nova as well.
Oh boy. I just found one store by me that got this but for $168 before tax. I think I might get it. Hopefully it’s good.
Amrut makes several nice pours.

As usual, thorough video, u guys rock…Try the Bardstown Amaro Nonino Collaboration…Quite good.
👏👏👏
I trust you guys, and will be a buyer. I hope all the naysayers enjoy their Old Thompson 😅
Hey guys...great review...being $30 more than the Disco series, is it better than Disco 11?
That is the question! 😂
Good question, because Disco #11 is great.
Best Indian Whiskey I have had is 100 pipers
Would you recommend this to people who dont love Rye's?

@bourbonkingdom Appreciate the response, thank you! Heading there next month, so I'll hopefully be able to give it a try. Cheers!

I passed at Costco
I have a couple bottles of this and it's fantastic!

So you only buy bottles to impress your friends with a name brand?
