Bardstown has everything going for them. They may not have the history like most distilleries, but just about everything they do, they're killing it. It's a must tour stop if your doing bourbon trail.

I love both of these. Once the BIB opens up after a week or two I like it better than the high rye. I think they are both really good for the price point. Just think in a few years they may have 10-12 year bottles ready, single barrel picks, barrel proof etc. Exciting for another brand with good juice. Drinking finished MGP is starting to get old. Cheers!
totally agree. I'm not usually a "it's got to open up" guy, but that is absolutely the case for me on the BIB bottle. Tasted wayyyyy different the second time around.

I bought the Origin black label wheater BIB first and love it. Going to pick up the white label when I find it. In my area, black label is $49.99 and white label is $44.99. Nice price point for Bardstown using their own juice.

After visiting Bardstown a few times during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, they are by far my favorite distillery right now. They’re doing some amazing stuff, the property is modern and beautiful. The food is KILLER. Most importantly…their juice is amazing. They have everything going for them right now.
Mark my words, within the next 5-10 years when their distillate gets older, MGP is gonna be BBCo’s biatch 😂
Just picked up the white label this weekend and looking forward to trying it this week! Definitely a fan of BBCo’s plan and whiskey!
Finally found a white label in San Diego for $39 at total wine. Grabbed the last one and exited try it out. Love the videos guys, keep up the good work!

Got the white label and was really happy with how much I liked it. It can be a little dicey when a distillery starts to transition to using their own distillate. I'll be looking for a backup the next time I'm out.
Got to try all three expressions straight out of the barrel on a tour at the distillery. The wheated was closer to 125 out of the barrel and I really wish they had left it there. It was awesome at barrel-proof. The bourbon was good too, and the rye mash bill is pretty crazy and has a super interesting flavor profile. Looking forward to more stuff from Bardstown.
Yeah. The Barrel thieving tour was great. We enjoyed all of the barrels. I think I preferred the bourbon the most, but that is just my general bias. They were all good.
Just picked up a bottle. My store only had 2 left so I grabbed one. I only paid $45. So, now I feel even better about my purchase.
This hugely reminds me of the BT Kosher compare. They liked the rye over wheat with almost the same types of comments. And i was opposite there too. I like the consistency. Bardstown BiB is the best new BiB I've had.
Both are very good, I do like the BiB wheater more
Last weekend I saw a couple of empty slots on the "what's new" shelves, looked at the stickers on the front edge and of course it was these Bardstown bottles. I'm looking forward to getting these to compare it to blantons...

Black label reminds me of some makers wood finishing LE’s
White label tastes like an orange push pop for me and easily take it over Blantons

I love the BIB, in fact I went out and bought two more bottles but wheaters fit my taste profile! Haven’t tried the white label will have to give it a try. Love the price point on both of these!
I picked up the Bards BIB last weekend at TW, I like it and I get that dried apple skin, but I also get a little caramel apple from the nose too, I was looking at the white label one too but only picked up one from there
Tried the rye at a tasting event a few weeks ago. It's fantastic. I'm not mad at the white label Origin Series. It pairs really well with ginger, oddly enough. I tried the BiB and it's super good, but I haven't been able to find it in stores yet.
Been a fan of Bardstown for a while. This should being in more fans for sure.

Sean and Dan: I just picked up the 96 proof Origin at Total Wine here in NorCal for $39 and you were right, this is A+ bourbon. May go back and stock up on another couple bottles before people figure this out!
White label in MD is 39.99. Wheated 44.99. Both are fantastic!!

I only got the BiB wheater and I feel like it's missing...something. It's way more savory than I was expecting, maybe.
A Total Wine Rebel Distiller's Collection is one of my favorite bottles right now.

I really like the rebel 10 year. The picks I've gotten have been 4 years 60% hot and extremely mouth drying

The "regular" bourbon I liked, I was not a big fan of the "bottled in Bond" though.
Tried the 100 proof origin next to fusion and discovery #7 and did not like it. I agree with Dan on this one.
The rye is best of the three new releases.. tried them at distillery

Bardstown still isnt sold here sadly. I did get to share around a sample of 2022 gts tho. Most people were very disappointed lol. it completely lacks balance. Still good, but definitely my least fave gts of the ones ive had.

Both are great, and it seems like forever now.
