I like Jerry Only as well, very humble guy & treats his fans with nothing but respect. I seen the Misfits in 1997 in London,Ontario,Canada at the old “Embassy” which is burnt down now but damn for a sh$t hole venue they sure did bring in some pretty big metal,punk bands! When I seen the Misfits Michael Graves was singing 🎤 in which was cool, he did pretty good I thought with all the pressure of the old school Misfit Fans who are Glenn Danzig Fans!
I like Jerry Only. Ive seen him with his son on guitar. Great show right before the riotfest gigs. I dont understand why some people give him such a hard time.
Because it's not the classic lineup and when it comes to these legendary bands people don't like change. I've seen the Jerry Only Misfits four times, great shows all of them. I've seen Doyle's band twice brutally awesome shows, probably the closest thing you can get to the Danzig era. Unfortunately I wasn't alive for the Danzig era and I was too young for the Graves era so I clearly never got to see their shows of those two eras. I love all eras of the Misfits though. I grew up loving old horror movies it wasn't hard for me to get into the Misfits haha. Man I wish I could of been at those reunion shows last year! And they've got a couple more coming up. I'm east coast and I wish hey could do some out my way
He seems like a really cool guy....but Mike Hideous trashed him in his book. Also, Jerry has gotten better on vocals but still doesn't fill Glenn's shoes. The Misfits also lost a lot w Doyle leaving the band. I'd still see the Misfits but it just isn't the same w only Jerry left.
LOL Misfits were never a great band. They were a great t-shirt. And that's about the only thing that EVER sold with the name Misfits on it. Glenn? He turned into a crazy cat lady years ago. If any of them can still make a buck doing the shtick...more power to them.
has anyone actually seen jerry play anything above the 6th,8th fret? why 24 frets? some bass solos i. the future?……… just breaking balls i love all those guys
@@elijahkelley7616 Yeah, they are expensive as hell. For a full fledged custom made graphite neck-thru, they were around 5k if I'm not mistaken. They also had a much cheaper production model that looked the same for around 7-800. They were called the Devil Wing.
