I saw Misfits live years back. After the show, Jerry perched himself on the end of the stage and didn't leave until everyone got a picture, an autograph, a hug, or all three. I took my daughter there for her 13th birthday and her first moshpit. When the band started playing, she looked at me all confused, wondering why everyone was running around crashing into one another. I said "think of it as human bumper cars." and she got the idea quickly. Every time either of us took a spill, there was always a helping hand. He signed her patch put her in a headlock lol. All in all a good birthday, better than Chuck E. Cheese I guess
So much hate in these comments. It's sad. The Misfits are more than just a trendy t-shirt you picked up at Walmart/Hot Topic kids. Listen to the music of their era and then look at what The Misfits were doing, that in itself demands respect. On that note- It's cool to see Jerry talk about his early influences. It's makes songs like "Driving on a Saturday Night" that much more enjoyable. The Horror punk is what they are known for but their music goes much deeper than that. The Misfits, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, legends of music history pushing the boundaries of their time. Respect.

Jim Richard Ooo look, it's generic teen commentator number #1,000,000,000,000,000,000
I like The Misfits music and certainly respect Jerry for his contributions to music, but you have to have a sense of humour about ageing and our eventual fate. This comment was not aimed at insulting this man, just a reflection on the state of punk now as a shadow of its' former self, using this guys undying devotion to the look as a metaphor.

I can't be sure. Is he trying to be Hawk or Animal?
Ascension?!
god hes so old now
he started the Misfits with Glenn? ....I thought he came on board after Cough Cool?
The first show ever and the first song recorded had Jerry on bass. But yes the idea to create the band was Glenns
This guy needs a gimmick -
quote from Premier Guitar - Doyle, Misfits youtube comment section.
Why do people hate Jerry anyway? You could tell that him and Danzig are complete opposites of each other and Doyle doesn't even want anything to do with either of them.
i agree i like jerry hes a nice guy i dont care about band issues being nice to your fans is more important then being nice to your band mates
Why they have to get old :(
🤘💀👍
DEVILOCKS !!! MACHINE SHOP !!!
"I listened to 1950's doo wop for 6 hours a day...Fats Domino, Little Richard, Buddy Holly..." NONE OF WHICH ARE DOO WOP. None of which have ever been called doo wop, by anyone. You've got two R'n B, one rockabilly artist there, Jerry. Until this dude kisses Danzig's ring and re-forms the original Misfits...or at least one of the more interesting line ups...fuh get aboudit.
I guess Doyle aged well
It’s fucking Swiggy from Lavern & Shirley
It's weird, and awkward as Hell, he (Jerry Only) mentions that he started the Misfits with Glenn, when they were called the Misfits before he even joined the group. Jerry Only was not even the first bassist. How he gets away with lies like this is beyond me.
no they werent called the misfits before jerry joined look up darkride flims mr.jim jim says him and glenn jamed with diane and jimi before there was any misfits he didnt here it then and manny says he remembers just him and Glenn Before Jerry And Franche Joined he doesnt remember anyone being there before Franche and Jerry Joined.
What is that?
When my old wife Marilyn Monroe learns the importance of self-expression like this, I will be much pleased.
I have never once fired a pistola, but I found slugs huddled up against an unfinished wall on Calle Revolution in 1914.
