Doyle isn't much of a guitar player actually, he even says that himself that he doesn't know many cover songs & hates playing in front of people if he's just practicing or writing stuff etc. He says he only likes playing in front of people when he's playing an actual show of songs he knows & other than that he said he sucks on guitar compared to most professionals like say Chris Broderick,Dave Mustaine,Dave Murray,Adrian Smith,Tommy Victor.
He knows the stuff he need to play, a couple of Ramones songs, and the Riff to smoke on the water. Something like that.

yeah, but he plays in standard tuning. they "dumbed it down" even more for this guy so he wouldn't have to learn a chord shape, only barre a fret. also, while 2 notes is usually a classic power chord, since doyle fingers an actual barre chord, he can strum anywhere from 2 to 6 notes at a time, whatever sounds best for that song. so, he was asking what was the best thing for this guy to learn.

I watched this with my dad when it first aired. I was so excited because Misfits were on TV, but as soon as they started playing he was like "Psshh, this sucks" and changed the channel. In retrospect, he was absolutely right.
