As an American, I see a lot about Iran on the news, but as I’ve educated myself about other nations I’ve come to learn that the news I see never paints the full picture. Hopefully in my lifetime nations can reconcile their differences. Allowing people from all nations to travel and see the abundance of beauty and culture our world has to offer ❤

Are you a Parsi? the Indian people took in the Persian's when they literally had no where to go. That act of kindness surely depicts the spirit of the Indian people. Iranians, and Indians are ancient Aryan cousins, and Iran owes a bit of gratitude for that act of kindness to the Parsi's.
I visited Iran a few years ago as a Dutch tourist, out was such a lovely experience! Can recommend it to everyone. Beautiful country, rich culture, kind people. Just make sure you follow the rules and laws and you'll be alright as a tourist.

As an Iranian I should say you have done very well in setting aside all stereotypes and prejudices, making a proper neutral opinion documentary covering about 60 to 70 percent of what can be said about the country. All I can say is you are original and that is what makes you stand out. Even the pitch you used to do the voice over goes the extra mile to reflect your neutral point of view and leaving the audience to decide for themselves. Well done 🙏👏👏

Unfortunately one would only understand it, if it happens to experience it and let me just say it is even more bitter if you have to do it because some one else’s fault or force. Life continues its path anyway. At the end of the day the sky is blue everywhere and the ground is flat. It’s important how you deal with the others once you are in power.

I lived and worked in Iran in the early 70’s under the Shah. I lived in Tehran ,Ahwaz and spent a year on Siri Island. It is one of my favourite countries. The people are very friendly.

Iran is the one country and one of many wonders of the world that I believe is a place of my family has lived. I'm half-Persian on my mother's side and the stories she told me of her native homeland sounds so beautiful full of life thriving on culture and its people. One day in my lifetime I'll see this beautiful country and hopefully get to experience the things my mom never could especially my other relatives. In 1978, the universities were closed which put so many young people in the most difficult position. Without attending university, young people went through many different directions. My uncle is one of them. When I get to visit Iran, I'll be exploring and do the things he couldn't in the year of 1978. I hope as Iran's opportunity for education is the only way for all aspect of life to achieve especially now when education reaches children to engage with other peers and learn what they can do and offer as become citizens of what may be the free world. That is my hope for them.

Iran, a 3rd world country, should have had only a very small percentage of college graduates in 1978, so missing college was not a big deal.

However, my a third party point of view and from a demoratic country, Americans no matter who, what, when, and where do not take advantage of their education like they should specifically younger generations. “We” were offered already admittance to public and private education this is despite the freedom of choice and certain other freedoms “we” had because “we’re” entitled to it. In other countries, they're obligated to and even then (not speaking for anyone) what does the government have the right to take what is not simply their moral judgment who gets to have an education of not? I was in Iran in 1975 with the US Navy. I fell in love immediately with the country and people. I deeply felt that I'd come home and that I've been there centuries ago. I'm a Christian and past lives are not part of the modern US Christian dogma but....I don't believe it. I went to the ancient empire and battlefields. Positivity...like general Patton... I've been there. The Iranian people were so happy, friendly and intelligent. The Iranian women of course are the most beautiful in the world. I had planned to move there after my Naval career. But then came the revolution and ended my retirement plans. This segment was well done. Bravo Zulu !

As an Iranian, watching this video reminded me of my ancient roots. A feeling of admiration and respect set in in my heart. I would like to thank you for all the efforts you made for this comprehensive video. Admittedly, Irans has been wounded and invaded several times by rival empires. Also it has been plagued by ruthless and curropt dynasties and religious clergies. Its wealth and culture had been under development recently under reign of Pahlavi dynasty until horrors of 1979 reveloution dominated this country to this date. I hope we can restore our pride and culture again. Thank you for representing us !

I am an Iranian-American, and consequently have seen many similar documentaries over the years about Iran on social media. This was one of the more comprehensive summaries on "what you would need to know in a nutshell" about any country or culture. There could have been more, but then again as you alluded yourself, this is a large country w/ deep cutural roots, and it is almost impossoble to cover everything. It hit the mark, job well done!!
Such a lovely and intelligent people... I love Persian food as well! Kobide forever! As a Korean I was amazed of the Persian epic Kushnameh. A Persian epic poem telling about a Persian prince was refuging in a ancient Korean kingdom known as Silla. He fell in love with the princess Frarang of Silla and got married and their son, the great persian hero Faridun, made a great conquering journey to revive Persia. I think there is a connection between Hwarang of Silla (warriors), Farang in Iran and the Franks in Europe. This connection needs an academic research for approval but I like my assumption. And believe there is also a connection between Irani Aryan and Korean Arirang.
Hoping for a free Iran in my lifetime. We have many Iranian Americans who would love to bring their children to this beautiful country to experience their home land.

I am an Iranian who left Iran at the age of 19. I am now 69 and lived my life in England and mostly united States. I really enjoyed watching your beautiful and concise documentary ❤️ I intend to study the Iranian history in depth and would not mind returning to Iran to live the last 19 years of life if there will be a secular democracy where freedom of religion, speech etc. Exist since I am now a Christian convert. I lived and worked in Iran in the early 70’s under the Shah. I lived in Tehran ,Ahwaz and spent a year on Siri Island. It is one of my favourite countries. The people are very friendly.

I'm half-Persian on my mother's side and the stories she told me of her native homeland sounds so beautiful full of life thriving on culture and its people. One day in my lifetime I'll see this beautiful country and hopefully get to experience the things my mom never could especially my other relatives. In 1978, the universities were closed which put so many young people in the most difficult position. Without attending university, young people went through many different directions. My uncle is one of them. When I get to visit Iran, I'll be exploring and do the things he couldn't in the year of 1978. I hope as Iran's opportunity for education is the only way for all aspect of life to achieve especially now when education reaches children to engage with other peers and learn what they can do and offer as become citizens of what may be the free world. That is my hope for them.

I was in Iran in 1975 with the US Navy. I fell in love immediately with the country and people. I deeply felt that I'd come home and that I've been there centuries ago. I'm a Christian and past lives are not part of the modern US Christian dogma but....I don't believe it. I went to the ancient empire and battlefields. Positivity...like general Patton... I've been there. The Iranian people were so happy, friendly and intelligent. The Iranian women of course are the most beautiful in the world. I had planned to move there after my Naval career. But then came the revolution and ended my retirement plans. This segment was well done. Bravo Zulu !
I'm REALLY enjoying this series. I really wish teachers could incorporate this into their lessons somehow. The information presented is clear enough for kids to understand, but mature and well-researched enough that everyone can take it in.

As an Iranian, watching this video reminded me of my ancient roots. A feeling of admiration and respect set in in my heart. I would like to thank you for all the efforts you made for this comprehensive video. Admittedly, Irans has been wounded and invaded several times by rival empires. Also it has been plagued by ruthless and curropt dynasties and religious clergies. Its wealth and culture had been under development recently under reign of Pahlavi dynasty until horrors of 1979 reveloution dominated this country to this date. I hope we can restore our pride and culture again.

I am an Iranian-American, and consequently have seen many similar documentaries over the years about Iran on social media. This was one of the more comprehensive summaries on "what you would need to know in a nutshell" about any country or culture. There could have been more, but then again as you alluded yourself, this is a large country w/ deep cutural roots, and it is almost impossoble to cover everything. It hit the mark, job well done!!

As a Korean I was amazed of the Persian epic Kushnameh. A Persian epic poem telling about a Persian prince was refuging in a ancient Korean kingdom known as Silla. He fell in love with the princess Frarang of Silla and got married and their son, the great persian hero Faridun, made a great conquering journey to revive Persia. I think there is a connection between Hwarang of Silla (warriors), Farang in Iran and the Franks in Europe. This connection needs an academic research for approval but I like my assumption. And believe there is also a connection between Irani Aryan and Korean Arirang.

Congratulations. You made my job so very easy. My search in UA-cam was ' an independent and unbiased history of Iran' and that is exactly what I got in nutshell. I am an Iranian who left Iran at the age of 19. I am now 69 and lived my life in England and mostly united States. I really enjoyed watching your beautiful and concise documentary ❤️ I intend to study the Iranian history in depth and would not mind returning to Iran to live the last 19 years of life if there will be a secular democracy where freedom of religion, speech etc. Exist since I am now a Christian convert. My hope is God's promise to bless ' Ilam' which is in Iran in the last days according to prophet Jeremiah in the Bible before Christ's second return. Maranatha! Come soon Lord.

"to Iran to live the last 19 years of life" at 69? Well, you can always hope to, but don't bet on that. At your age, you are at the mercy of illness that can crop up anytime.
Many don't even reach your age, even in countries where medecine is said to be the best, like the USA.
