Whilst we are waiting for some parts to repair the #bmw #e92 #m3 we may as well start the modifying process by fitting a HSS supercharger kit to transform the way this V8 drives.

Not to say you're wrong. But a lot of Mats older crashed car fixups were cars more attainable to the majority. It is recently he's fixing up supercars and etc.
@@canoezzz agreed. I’ve watched Mat’s videos for a few years now and I do like his approach, can’t wait to watch the uploads. But, I also like seeing more normal cars too. I guess Chris is filling that gap for me and I’ll continue to watch both

I recently had a ride in a supercharged Lotus Exige and the supercharger whine was mental loud!
Rotrex don't whine like that unless they're broken because they don't have gears. Exige has a hybrid roots (both S2 and S3), which is why they whine.

if you look at one of my youtube shorts you’ll see that our air con pump pulley failed on our e93 m3 and a sound of it is in the picture too maybe it could be that on yours too ?

I have a supercharged E92. Recommend some test pipes from modstock to release some more power. Then a smaller pulley. Mine runs 650bhp. Also a must is the atmosphere blowoff valve for the noise 😎
Re-tension the belt should smooth it out and will probably sort your power steering knock. Seen both your cars at Autosport top job 👍

Definitely get them tb actuators changed
The lumpy running that's getting worst with each start is possibly down to the stock ECU map, new injectors and fuel trims.
To put it basic the car will be running incorrect fuel / air ratio because you've changed the injectors and the ECU thinks it has stock injectors.
The ECU will read the amount of air coming in either MAF or MAP sensor and use the fuel map to add the appropriate amount of fuel.
However this won't be the appropriate amount of fuel because its assuming it has stock injectors, so it will add more fuel and run rich.
Then the O2 sensors (first bank) measure the air to fuel ratio coming from the exhaust side of the engine and if its not as require, which it won't be because its running rich the ECU will take out some fuel to compensate and will save a note to itself on how much to deduct ( the fuel trim). However again because the injectors are different to what it's expecting it will probably take to much out and run lean and knock.
When you turn the car off the ECU stores the fuel trim and the next start you start from that point.
To test the theory reset the fuel trims by resetting the ECU I.e. disconnect battery for some time.
It should run as it did on the first start until the o2 sensors start adjusting the trims again.
If so then it's because your ECU needs mapping to the new injectors and extra air.

Now we're talking! I'm so bored by all these crash repair UA-camrs who make video after video or bolting body parts on an off then add a horrible sounding stupidly loud exhausts and some wheels. Yawn.
Come on really, why not ramp it up a bit and actually twin turbo the shit out of this engine. Another boring supercharged S65. Not hating but I was genuinely hoping you'd be the one doing it in the UK.....

Check the ground for the ignition coil that goes on a peg at the back of the valve cover. If the ground is lose this issue will happen.
This is a common issue after doing valve cover jobs.
Hold up is that not clearly a big ass TURBO or am i tripping real question, if someone wants to break it down im all ears.
The finish on that plenum paintjob is awful. I know it needs sanding and polish but it should be a lot better comin out of the paintgun. Nonetheless, love the content👌

They stay closed and require quite a bit of force to open but I do agree how hard is it to put some paper towels on top
