As much as I love the Mat Armstrong uploads, your videos feature “cars of the people” that more of us can realistically afford. You’ve got a new subscriber here!
Touche I really enjoy Matt's content to the point I've met him and a top fella to boot ,But I'm all about the cars for the people 👌 TBF I look forward to all their content and humour 🤣
Not to say you're wrong. But a lot of Mats older crashed car fixups were cars more attainable to the majority. It is recently he's fixing up supercars and etc.
@@canoezzz agreed. I’ve watched Mat’s videos for a few years now and I do like his approach, can’t wait to watch the uploads. But, I also like seeing more normal cars too. I guess Chris is filling that gap for me and I’ll continue to watch both

It is on my small list of channels that I watch every video start to finish. I mean it when I say I wish you the greatest success you deserve it.
I’ve just found your Vlog and can say you and the Big Boy are very talented, funny and entertaining. So crack on. Another thing I admire about ur presentation is your hardly any bad words I haven’t heard any F bombs witch I think are totally uncalled for. Keep up the great presentation. Thanks..
I love you videos, and when you got this M3 I was so happy since I'm a bmw guy. Personally I dont dig the super charger at all but still love the content. Great watch every time
Great work, proper love the content. Been following since the early days, and your work keeps getting better and better. The down to earth way in wihich it's delivered, and also using 'financially realistic' options, is definately a good move, as it allows most of us to think,. we can do that too 🙂. Your newfound success is richly deserved.
Love your content Chris! You’re videos are my favourite of all the current trend of crash repair UA-camrs, and as a fellow detailer, you have inspired me to take on my own project. All the best 👍
I have a supercharged E92. Recommend some test pipes from modstock to release some more power. Then a smaller pulley. Mine runs 650bhp. Also a must is the atmosphere blowoff valve for the noise 😎
I really hope you swap that strut brace for a carbon fiber one!😁👌 Good luck with the build Chris! It’s going to be amazing after you’re done with it!!🎉👌👏
Guy an alfa for something different.. a guiletta to fix there's none on UA-cam! Great content. 1.4tb is a little monster hot hatch and super affordable. Or 1.7 for the top spec! Probably the best looking family car you can get for its age.
Check the ground for the ignition coil that goes on a peg at the back of the valve cover. If the ground is lose this issue will happen. This is a common issue after doing valve cover jobs.
Yo Chris. Don’t know if it’s coincidence but I commented on the music in the last video and it appears you listened haha another awesome video man. Hats off to you ❤️
The lumpy running that's getting worst with each start is possibly down to the stock ECU map, new injectors and fuel trims. To put it basic the car will be running incorrect fuel / air ratio because you've changed the injectors and the ECU thinks it has stock injectors. The ECU will read the amount of air coming in either MAF or MAP sensor and use the fuel map to add the appropriate amount of fuel. However this won't be the appropriate amount of fuel because its assuming it has stock injectors, so it will add more fuel and run rich. Then the O2 sensors (first bank) measure the air to fuel ratio coming from the exhaust side of the engine and if its not as require, which it won't be because its running rich the ECU will take out some fuel to compensate and will save a note to itself on how much to deduct ( the fuel trim). However again because the injectors are different to what it's expecting it will probably take to much out and run lean and knock. When you turn the car off the ECU stores the fuel trim and the next start you start from that point. To test the theory reset the fuel trims by resetting the ECU I.e. disconnect battery for some time. It should run as it did on the first start until the o2 sensors start adjusting the trims again. If so then it's because your ECU needs mapping to the new injectors and extra air.
if you look at one of my youtube shorts you’ll see that our air con pump pulley failed on our e93 m3 and a sound of it is in the picture too maybe it could be that on yours too ?
my brain kept wanting to read "SUPERCHARGING DESTROYED MY BMW M3 E92", to the point where I thought you made a mistake in the title haha. happy to see it's not in fact blown up
Probably because it looks like a second hand kit. When I supercharged my old C63 with their kit they weren’t very approachable for replacement parts or assistance directly, only through their authorised dealers which as A Reeve in Norfolk but, that means getting the car to them so they can flash it. The alternative option they offer is to send them your ECU to Norway.

You deserve more subscribers for what you do well done
I recently had a ride in a supercharged Lotus Exige and the supercharger whine was mental loud!
Rotrex don't whine like that unless they're broken because they don't have gears. Exige has a hybrid roots (both S2 and S3), which is why they whine.
Looking forward to seeing this finished, great work Chris, keep it up! Keeping proper cars alive.... No EV shite

Super project , nice job , please and thanks in advanced activate translations :)
Why did you need to remove the ECU when the tune is just flashed via the OBD using software?
Surley ESS will just email you a map for you to flash on yourself using their software?
Probably because it looks like a second hand kit.
