Lol. I'm a 42 year old enthusiast who's car modifying journey is almost IDENTICAL to yours. Started with a CRX, ended up with Bimners (E30's/E90's) and other highly modified German cars. Awesome build.

This is what it’s about. Nevermind your biases, we all have em, Scott definitely put the world of car tuning on notice with its toxic behavior in just this one video.
It’s doesn’t matter what you love, it matters that you love doing it, you keep doing it if it’s what you love, and to bring in your kids and loved ones if they’re interested.
I remember growing up not having that support and feeling shut out because my dad didn’t twist a wrench his whole life. Fuck that. You love what you love, and it doesn’t matter if Scott’s build includes JDM wheels, just like it doesn’t matter if what I did to my M340 isn’t to your exact taste. Who here gives an actual fuck? It’s his car, a gorgeous one at that, and that’s why we’re all here.
It isn’t the cars. It’s that we love cars.

@@alexrosario7661 for the most important I can think of is parts availability. Anything M is gonna have that bro tax. I do my own work so that’s what I think of. A ots tune and few bolt ons. Your already faster then a e9xM3. F series m4 have 420hp. With fbo tune n54 your right there or faster.

I relate to this dude so much, I just wish I had a shop to work in. I really should have got a Honda to start with. I got a f01 750 instead which is just too expensive to cut up for me. I've done some minor stuff so far. The grand idea for the build is "The M7", but idk it's hard to get the funds at 20yrs old yk

every time i see a E90/E92 platform m3 I regret the decision to sell mine. I was also lucky enough to put 90k miles on it with no maintenance issues at all. Still ended up selling it and itt hurts my heart every day lol

Edit: nvm he might just only focus on B58 and S58. Oh and lame burble tunes 😂😂
S58 is simply the peak modern BMW twin turbo for extreme tuners, B58 is a monster for simple daily driving performance😜
s65/s85 are the best engines they've made
@@Iadders well, except if you consider it in terms of reliability wise, as V8 is not having the best reputation
@@baoquoc3710 they're not terrible, my 09 m3 coupe has 196k with bearings and throttle actuators done by previous owner. i haven't needed to do any other major maintainence yet, but yeah, b58 and s58 are way cheaper to maintain.

someone should have told his man that syvecs is junk. maxxecu makes plug and play e90 harness with their ecu for about $1800. they even have an s65 base map for boost. i have maxxecu in my e92, i had an s63tu engine with direct injection deleted running in the e92 in 2 days. its virtually the same engine , same sensors, same CAN. and for 30k, could have built forged engine, head work, built the trans and rear end, did twin turbos, maxxecu and would still have 5-6k left.
Much better, actually get to hear it🤌🏾
