The Instute is just doing exactly what the Enclave want imo.
Those are good! It was an aesthetics choice for me. I got worried that I would entirely overwrite the Institute's retro-futuristic vibe into a modern warfare vibe if I wasn't careful, but I'll link those mods in the description.
The only way to buff the Institute is to get rid all those gluehuffers who don't even know why they're making androids and have them work on food production and weapons, instead.

It works really well from an immersion PoV to make it feel like you're actually the head of the Institute proudly showing off the advanced technology that makes that faction superior to all other factions within Fo4. I really like it! New subscriber.
It really is. There are a few mods that buff the Institute laser weapons and there is a mod called Institute Improved on PS that buffs the vanilla faction a little if you are looking for one that helps the faction out overall.
I still wish there was an option where you pull strings as Director if you accepted Father's propsal oin behalf of ENclave How it works out is that you tell ward/Whitehill you the new director. When you chooseto help armstrong you literally stab him in back

Well Dale, if I understand your question, AR2 let's you take over the institute and I liked the head canon of that, but most of these mods are Institute specific and not really about an AR2 connection.

Just wish all of these were available on Xbox. Can only find Phase 4 and ITO. No Assassin Sword, no improved synth relay grenades, and no synth power armor. At least IMO I can find the two essential mods.

The androids are the key. And those reports of bio-gel fumes being sniffed by Robotics Dept. employees were never confirmed.

If they have, I haven't seen it and a quick search of Nexus mods didn't bring anything up.
No one has made one there is no red glare mod not even a port
My initial biggest issue is the flatscreens used for institute tech here, it's not lore accurate at all. It's also just not very fallout.
I suppose that is true, but I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Thats the institute for you. I personally love the faction though.
