Did you put any finish or sealant on the top?

Yes the poly acrylic. The 3 coats worked better but you’re free to put as many as you have patience for just let it dry between coats

How has this held up after a few months?

It’s alright as long as you don’t drag appliances across the counter with sharp feet. I put little felt feet on everything.
