Bg3 is 150gb, thats over 1/10th of a terabyte. Yes it's easy as fuck to fill up terabytes, especially if you have multiple big games you want to play more than once or one at a time or can't afford to redownload all the time because ISP monthly data limits. Also people who download shows and movies instead of stream them.

i have one 1TB drive atm, got 2 1TB HDDs turned off (mainly due to noise) and i usually just uninstall one game and download the next, got like 3 permanent games in total.
I have 1.5 tb just in work pics and videos. And I have since my first computer(when I was 14 Im 31 now) always made a backup of my stuff so I have it all organized by pc / year. That with all the music, cellphone backups and random stuff its 2,5tb, Its one of my biggest treasures. Love to go to whatever year I want and listen for example all my music from when I was 16

Now you've used 8tb of space.
I wouldn't put my games on my operating system drive, and a 4tb is a huge drive but I couldn't fill it up unless I was doing video work and or downloading movies and would use it as a movie drive so no, I did fill a 2TB drive but it was games, thousands of mods, pictures, movies and videos I downloaded from youtube. I can't imagine if it's a 4tb with the operating system on it would not want that, anything over a terrabyte is probably never going to be filled up if it's the operating system drive.

Dude, Fiber internet is fast, but not hard to get for a reasonable price at ALL. I've had Fiber with Quantum Fiber for almost 2 years now, shit's only $60/month with taxes included. 940 MBPS download and 880 MBPS upload speeds.

Theres a long way from that to 4tb. So unless you never uninstall games you have completed, you dont really need that much. Specially with the download speed most people have these days with fiber and all.

Consoles spread gaming to a more mainstream audiance. Resulting in more games being developed. Sure, lot of games would be different, but the amount of games we'd get would reduce to half. Probably even less and more niche titles wouldn't even exist because of that. Like souls games for example.

Dropping frames because your CPU is unzipping the compressed game files. This is less of an issue with slower internet because the files aren't all coming in at once, so the CPU doesn't have to work as hard.
Is soda not a gamer? Most AAA title games are at least 80 to 100 GB, so games like call of duty , assassin‘s creed and Bethesda game, if you were to play any of those you’re lucky to get 10 games on a 1 terabyte hard drive, but if you play indie games and just World of Warcraft then yeah you probably wouldn’t fill up a terabyte, to each their own.

If you have a couple of AAA games on your pc it fills up really fast. For example, just WoW and Diablo4 take 170gb of space.
