  • This is a video tutorial of how to diagnose and repair your car A/C. Wether your car air conditioning is not blowing or blowing intermittently this video will help you get to the bottom of your issue then show you how to repair said issue. This video shows you how to test your transistor, relay, and how to perform a diode test to figure out if your blower motor is good or bad. These diagnostics were performed on a 2003-2007 Honda Accord 4 cylinder but will work on the 6 cylinder engine as well.

    Your video saved me, I have a 06. I wasn't getting a fan or any and I didn't know about the transistor. I checked the transistor and the freaking thing wasn't plugged in 😂😂. I was checking relays and all kinds of shit until I watched your video. I still didn't have ac but I had my heater so I bought a can of refrigerant and charged it and now my AC works amazing. Thanks again dude.

    My A/C stopped workin a long time ago and technicians learned that it is not a leaK and not the compressor. If this video helps me I'm definitely tipping a thanks to you. Might need to learn how to replace a transistor though

    Thanks for the upload to show how you had fix your problem. But it seems strange to me that the relay ("snow" symbol) you had swap out was for the AC Compressor. I would have thought since the blower was not blowing, it may had been the Blower relay (the "fan" symbol) that is above it.

    • @ucanfixit1
      @ucanfixit1  Рік тому +2

      Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Yea it’s tricky diagnosing these issues without a multimeter. Most people assume the blower relay is the issue when your fan motor isn’t blowing but by using a multimeter you can test it to make sure and not just throwing money away replacing part after part. That’s why I made the video to help people. Hope you subscribe!

    I had thought it was my ac compressor because it wasn’t cold and I didn’t have any Freon. When I bought it and put it in it was in the red. I let it out then put the Freon in and it was still hot.I will check these things before I buy a whole ac compressor but the compressor didn’t click on after putting the Freon in.

    First off, thank you for the time and effort to make this video. However I did all these test and my issue remains. I think it is in the A/C controller unit where the buttons are at. The issue I’m having is when I first start the car and I turn the ac on, everything works it even blows cold air but 20 seconds later everything shuts off. No air, the fans stop and the compresor disengages. Then I run off ac and on again and nothing. If you have any idea what that might be please advise. I already checked the diode and ohms and the fuse

      Hey thanks for watching! Definitely sounds like a short somewhere. I’d change out the controls and if that doesn’t work I’d trace each line and wire making sure there isn’t any nicks or cuts. If you do this and find nothing take it to a mechanic to find the issue for you and fix it yourself. Hope this helps.
