I think that Peachy as a bald, cigarette smoking, orphan boy smelting minis needs to be a Peanuts style cartoon on a shirt. Also, the phrase "it's hard to be a man in the hobby" should also be a Juggz merch shirt.
One of the few places on the internet where you *should* read the comments. Thanks for doing what you do and cultuvating a great space for sharing and learning about the hobby space.
This is my favourite episode yet - the chaotic energy was strong - shout out to Rob’s editing (even whilst sick - it’s hard to be a man editing in the hobby) just for the cuts to his own face looking progressively more confused and borderline delirious as the conversation went on. Also now we have smoking 4 year old Smelting Peachy, Victorian orphan Sugs - Rob need a character to make up the set…
making Sisyphus look like an amateur :) I feel we need to get Ron a shirt that says "Official cat herder of Juggz" with a picture of two cats running off with the other twos heads on them.
I love how Rob has just accepted that the weird kids are running the show for this one 🤣 Shoutouts to the creative mind man, I use my inner voice out loud all the time and also do the maladaptive daydreaming thing.
I remember floating down the stairs as a kid when I lived in a three story house and my bedroom had pink elephants wallpaper, I was very young and still living with my my dad, nan & granddad and uncle Alan. Thank you for the reminding me of that memory. Great interview and great memories as well… Thank you Tina xXx
As a peachy-aged Flemish Jugghead who only went to catholic school, I wouldn’t have been ready for Tine’s energy if I wasn’t following her instagram since the pandemic. Great Juggz!
I love every episode but this one has been the best so far. Rob was just too funny with his expressions and the way he tries to herd those cats with such good humour. Fantastic job, all of you. So many times something happened that I thought would be my highlight of the episode and then something even more hilarious would happen. Long live Juggs! 🫶
Great conversation. I do however feel that poor Rob looks like a deer in the headlights when the conversation goes off the rails and makes twists and turns and he has to figure out how to navigate back!🤣🤣🤣
Another great episode, instant follows for Tine, hadn't come across her stuff before. Watching Rob try to keep conversation on track is an absolute highlight.
I love this rambling conversation. Related to the metal-detector question, a group of friends and I were recently trying to decide the quickest way to work out if someone would fit our group. And we came up with the question: "Do you like trains?" Now, if it was a gang of train-people, that'd be straightforward enough. But it's wasn't. We're engineers and designers. Brilliant programmers and artists. Nerds all round. But the answer to "Do you like trains?" Doesn't have to be "yes", as long as the person doesn't answer "no".
Ah, Prince August! I can remember being aged 10 or 11 and sending off a postal order to Ireland for goblin moulds and some metal ingots. I use to melt the metal in a ladle over the family cooker, probably whilst wearing a highly flammable dressing gown. Back in the ‘80s this was relatively normal behaviour (I think). Keep it weird, guys. This is the most joyous gaming podcast I’ve ever come across. Loving it. BTW Tine was an amazing guest and will definitely be checking out her work.
Somehow, every episode you 3 have put out has been even better than the last one.. and I adored your first episode! You three put out absolutely wonderful content on your own, and together, just talking about whatever - Like Peachy commented about one of his Patrons, this podcast is my social circle for the week, and puts me a fantastic mood. And Tine is an absolutely wonderful creative soul. Going to find her channel now! Thank you all! ❤
Never knew there was a name for replaying scenarios in your head, and if you didn't like the outcome, rewinding and starting again. I just thought that was normal thinking.
My kids went to a Waldorf school when they were little. It was definitely culty. They weren't allowed to wear any clothes with cartoon characters or logos, and there were definitely side-eyes if they wore anything with "unnatural fibers." They'd get to school, change into special, organic wool slippers, hold hands in a circle and sing a song, go around and share their feelings, etc. They didn't learn much, but they had fun. Then it was off to the bullying school for them to learn what the REAL world is like! Also, if Ron is insisting on a tagline for Rascaltown, go with Rascaltown: A Town of Li'l Rascals. And the voice in your brain is called your "internal monologue".
From a film director to Rob: do a wide shot. Top shot. Be cool. Promise. Also - put some neon behind peachy and flag light off wall. But don’t change cos you’re totally fucking awesome.
Peachy's pain when the "how old were you when the LotR movies" came out resonated, for certain. I'd broken up with my first fiancee just a few months before, and it's one of the first movies I ended up seeing on my own. (Partly because it was an impulse decision, the theatre was next to the bank and I'd just walked over the deposit for the store I worked in, realised the movie started in 15 minutes, and went in.)
I think Tine's suggesting of starting sculpting with faces is great, since its a part that always has lots of character and interest, they are always fun. The fact that they can also be challenging is actually good too, since you will force yourself to improve fast. I basically did this when I taught myself traditional putty sculpting and I think it was a big help.
This could be the tagline of the whole podcast. As someone who's done a few interviews myself I feel for him trying to get it back on track. Especially him being a man in the hobby. I hope as a woman that we get to a point where it's perfectly normal to be a man in the hobby
The sensation of a 'being' on your chest during sleep paralysis gave rise to the Old English term 'hagridden' (literally a hag or witch, on you) meaning a nightmare or anxiety, so this has been a thing for a very long time.
Juggz truly is the gift that keeps on giving. It's cool to find out the inspiration behind the Alchemite warforger was from 4yo Peachy and now there needs to be a kit bash replacing the runecube with a teabag the crucible in to a teapot.
1) It's great to hear open and honest conversations like this between neurodivergent people in the hobby, as there really are quite a lot of us, and 2) I appreciate Rob's choice of editing in a shot of his own expression now and then as the sole neurotypical (AFAIK) person bearing witness to what comes out of our mouths :D
Boutique by definition is a small store selling fashionable clothes or accessories. Can also be a small business selling something that seems "sophisticated" or fashionable. By saying boutique hobby, it paints the picture as "other" or "refined" that most grow into instead of jumping into as an introduction to the hobby.
I love this podcast. I have watched every single episode. (Tall order with 8, I know). Gun to my head, I could not tell you what this podcast is about. It is jazz.
I loved this episode, Tine was a great guest! I was a RAF brat based in Germany for a few years. My earliest memory of wargaming was seeing a couple o guys playing with tanks n soldiers on a huge (seemed to me at the time) board in the Sgts mess in Laarbruch
I think black magic craft is a good example to what Rob is talking about. He came up with a vibe, then made a full setting out of it, then a game, then a mini range
Peachy!!! My Russian Silver Bayonette unit is nearly finished bro! Thanks for getting me into it with that video, will send pic when done :D Also Tina seems nice, invite her on again!
8:50 "Prince August" is the company that made those moulds. Mostly for military historical types but there was also a fantasy range. I had a set in the early 90's - great fun if a bit limited when you only have one mould.
BEST EPISODE YET! 😂you guy’s totally kill me, it was so genuine heartfelt and funny as a trio of goblins trying to find out how a compass works, love you guys you’ll live forever!

We all know it's hard to be a man in the hobby, but I didn't realise just how hard it is to be Rob in the studio...
Maybe Rob needs a new mug that says "it's hard being literally the only neurotypical in the hobby"
@@jamfjord as someone who is very much not neurotypical, I feel for him!
you have our support Rob.
@@minimaher82 we can require a bit of wrangling, can't we? 😊
It's hard being the Straight Man in the studio
I love that we've added Peachy-as-a-poor-smelting-German-boy to the Juggz lore now. 😂
I love that we will be able to reference it elsewhere with Peachy and we'll all have a laugh
I would say Peachy was born with a lead spoon in his mouth.
So, when’s the STL coming out??
@@JimHurst-UK asking the real questions
First 15 minutes hits harder than an entire season of LOST
Edit: If there is an award for podcast editing then Rob better win one
"But what we didn't find, was the answer to my question." - If that isn't the quote that sums up Juggz, i don't know what is. Joyous. 😀
Just hit that one, the comedic timing of it! Well done Rob! 😂
Im showing this episode to my sleep paralysis demon
Its you!
😂😂😂 do t forget to make them a coffee though ☕️
3 minutes in and Tina's dress says little house on the prerie, her hobbying says little chance of escaping her basement 😂😂
Only if you have baby doll legs
Don't mock a mans disability
I think that Peachy as a bald, cigarette smoking, orphan boy smelting minis needs to be a Peanuts style cartoon on a shirt. Also, the phrase "it's hard to be a man in the hobby" should also be a Juggz merch shirt.
I need this
Peachy: “Can we get some Warhammer?”
Peachy’s Dad: “No, we’ve got Warhammer at home. Now get your smelting apron on”
Peachy and his dad making lead minis like Elrond and Arwen reforging Andúril
Rob's face when Suggs, Tine and Peachy were going off about their daydreams!
"I want a mushroom with a machine gun."
We have Orks at home!
I never thought Juggz could get better, but every week I drool over bigger and better Juggz!
It’s not always the size that matters.
I like it when Juggz is perky.
I hope these Juggz are going to be milked for a very long time!
Suggs' description of her bullying experience hit extremely close to home for me. I kindly request the cast of Juggz give Suggs some huggs.
The cuts to Rob's facial expressions, hahahah. Ahhh , this makes me happy. 49:34 , 49:53 , 51:07 , 56:30 , 58:36 , 1:00:27
49:34 needs an honourable mention
@farplaine thank you! Thought I missed one.
How the hell am I supposed to paint listening to Juggz when I am laughing my ass off at Peach the child smelter
Juggz Beano/Dandy style comic when?
Agree I only painted 10% of a goblin during the whole thing
Rob, you know its hard being a man in the hobby when you suddenly realise that you're actually running a therapy session instead of a podcast.
This episode was unhinged in the best way possible
I never expected Rob would play the straight man
I feel like Peachy and Suggs would both enjoy Magnet fishing
I love magnet fishing, I sat and watched a dude do it by the canal near GW, it was utterly fascinating
Not me reading this after watching magnet fishing tiktoks for an hour 👀
I’ve never encountered Tine or her work before but what an absolutely delightful human she is!
I can’t quite get over how mellifluous her voice is. Subscribed to her channel too now! 💟
I was born in 1981 and also remember my dad making his own miniatures in the shed and pouring lead into molds. I still have one he made!

I like to always read the comments and like them also, or maybe a week camping has made me a hippie or something?
Omg crying laughing - also "Would you like to go metal detecting?" "ha YEAH" is one of the most adorable things ever
My favorite parts of these episodes is just watching Rob desperately try get back on the rails…best part of my week.

Can I suggest that the Juggz listeners are collectively known as Chest Goblins, yes, chest goblins are also boobs.
Gobboobs?
Didn't expect to Learn that Peachy is a dyslexic German smelter with a sleep paralysis daemon on my warhammer show but here we are!
Okay, new game. Start a betting pool on the exact time that Rob gives up trying to keep the show on track
Please continue to have guests like this on your podcast love finding new creators! Much love for Juggz from the US!
I absolutely love, how Rob is desperately trying to keep the crazy happy people in line. It’s the best. Great episode
I love the conversation and banter. I also love how often I resonate with Rob's mystified looks in this episode 😂
The first 20 minutes of this is a trip. 😂
So's the rest.... 😂
Love it when guests come onto Juggz!
Great episode as always team!
This was the most chaotic and entertaining episode yet. Rob is a cat herder at its best. Love the content

How long before Rob realises he’s not a person but instead a manifested shared character from the creative minds of the others?
Oh god, the "being the oddball neurodivergent at school" section of this video brought back *memories* 😬
it's not so much "brought back memories" as "oh, so that explains a lot..." for me! Same road, different direction.
Never knew there was a name for replaying scenarios in your head, and if you didn't like the outcome, rewinding and starting again. I just thought that was normal thinking.
I continue my story in my head when I'm in bed, to help me sleep. Been doing that at least ten years and I thought I was the only one

Correct, Give them *all* the sugar and caffeine.
Peachy lore is so good
Peachy smoking cigarettes & pouring lead minis as a kid, definitely not a hobby tourist 😆
