@@iJaskoThird this! It seems nowhere is being updated with podcast episodes, which is no use unless I was getting UA-cam premium (I'm not getting UA-cam premium)
Came here to say the same thing, I thought there was a break if anything last episode upload was in August and its nearly November now.. can't hack streaming them on way to work with my data plan lol
"Was it my subscription or our subscription?" Is a phrase i hear from my wife every other month. I also love that you mentioned Joe from Wargames Live. He's doing the emperor's work.
I'd just like you to know that I look forward to each episode so much. listening to you all chatting is really nice while I paint. it makes me feel like I have friends round while I paint. and honestly, I love that hearing about esoteric weird things, more discussions about crazy clock rules please and the fact that Rob's political leanings seep out more and more is great. you all are just about the best people on the internet, keep being you. thank you!
The clock topic was insane haha The Silver Bayonet Sharpe series is tremendous and the teaching kids to paint video was exceptional. Thanks for sharing!
I'm 45 seconds in and just from the music and Louise's "Oh! No! That's a chicken!" I'm making the guess that someone (quite possibly her) has made the decision to purchase one of the new medieval Teenage Engineering synths and leave it where someone who makes dungeon synth can get their hands on it. Edit - I was right! And also am jealous. I have to wait for Christmas for mine.
Louise’s teaching kids to paint video is amazing. I have it bookmarked and will be referring people to it for years to come. I am going to take the approach she recommended with my own son when I think he’s ready
Louise, I watched your video on getting your kids into painting. My 5 year old will help me base coat my tyranids. My now 18 year old who got me into the hobby has started playing again and has got 2 of his friends into 40k. It's so much fun to spend time hobbying with my sons. (Sorry for the multiple comments. I'm long-winded and really enjoyed the video.)
Totally watched the video on teaching kids, it was amazing. I have a four year old who always wants to paint with me and I was struggling to figure out how to help her and that video came along at the right time. Thank you.
As a dad, who collects wargaming minis and watches UA-cam videos in their spare time, Louise's video was very helpful for me. I can't wait for my son to be old enough to give painting minis a go.
Woke my daughter up burst out laughing listening to this. Clock discussion was comedy gold. Listening to things used to help me put her to sleep before but not anymore 😢
That Clock thing is bat shit crazy. As a Doctor Who geek it is nice to see you all in Doctors Who outfit. Peachy suits the Peter Davison outfit. Louise's Tom Baker look is great too.
The Sharpe battle reports got me and my partner into watching the show, we just finished Sharpe's Waterloo the other day. Lovely work, Peach! PS. Chocolate silicone moulds are better than fidget poppers because they come in white, often have more wells and come in many different well sizes. I'm really happy with mine.
At 48:00 talking about working in GW it's very similar to working in the civil service (not in Whitehall). Managers that come along and change shit for no reason, bad wages with progression locked behind changing jobs.
Children painting video was very nice. I‘ve been painting with my kids, unfortunately they mostly got into 40k and I wasn’t prepared to guide them to actually having fun painting 20 Spacemarines 😅 they want to paint like the boxart which is way out of reach obviously and then get frustrated. We did some whimsical stuff from kickstarters I backed (curious critters sthsth) but it’s not a priority and growing up, playing switch and going to school is already busy. The workshop thing and also Louise being a very sympathetic and energetic teacher helps for sure.
Getting clocked means one of the timelords come over with a bee and sting you on one hand so you now have a big hand and a little hand like a clock. This makes you quicker because you don’t want to get stung by another bee.
Dear Peachy, Louise and Rob: A comment was made in the video about your worst videos being your faves. For some perspective, in every field of art I have experienced (first or second hand) the feeling of “putting the most out only to get the least back” is standard. As a tattooer, I will spend minimal emotional investment on a little Pinterest piece and if I was to post it on insta or something it would do super well. However, Everytime I finish a backpiece that took the client and I more than a year of BS&Ts to finish… it gets 5 likes😂. Furthermore When the dudes from Blink182 brought their demo of “take of your pants and jacket” to the label, they were told “this album is not dumb enough. Where are the summer hits?” So Mark and Tom left the offices for a lunch break and wrote/recorded “the rock show” and “first date” respectively. Both within an hour and off the tops of their heads. When they arrived back at the label’s offices they tossed the tracks on the table as if to spite their evil overlords…. These are now two of their most popular songs. Okay. That’s enough anecdotes. You get the point. But I’ve always thought of tattooing as doing work (Pinterest tats) to facilitate the passion (back pieces etc.) so do the click bate. Cause it allows you to make the videos you love.
In terms of clocks I like them for competitive play, as long they don’t do what YuGiOh did for their rulings (weird rules meant that near the end of a close match stalling was encouraged if you had a slight lead)(this was many years ago so may have changed)
Louise’s sigmar tournament vid made me want to play AOS… now I have a tonne of rats to paint. Also, I have kids so have loads of all of your individual channel vids to catch up on 😅
I think the best counter to someone saying "I should get more time because I have an army of 200+ goblins" is that you still need to be able to finish a game in the time period against a mirror match. And if you can finish the game with half the total time, then you don't need more time than someone with a different army.
The music problem is why my mate over at Das Nerdspiel (who you should all check-out, by the way) composes all his own music for his videos. And the Peachy Palette (TM) sounds ace! You should get somebody to make a peach-shaped palette with all that - I'd buy one! And Rob isn't bald under that cap?!?!! That should have been the clickbait video title!
Even my wife who has no interest broadly in the hobby put down her Kindle and was in bits over the clocks😂 - clock managers... more like timebandits 😂 More unhinged chat please with medieval chicken choking background noises ❤
Loved the painting video for kids, wish i had it when I worked with kids as a profession. Miss the work, dont miss the parent drama :( Did a paint a space marine 2 years ago with my nephew, we went to a local game store and let him choose a mini, its still on his shelf next to his lego's proud uncle moment =)
I have a Death Guard army with 30 Plague Marines and a bunch of poxwalkers and I used movement trays, it makes it so much easier for me let alone my opponent
All this talk about clocks makes me even happier I just play skirmish stuff. Kill team and mordhiem are done in an hour and a half usually and it's nice. Not that 3.5hr nonsense for a single game.
occasionally after listening to peachy for too long I have to check in a mirror to make sure he isn't me in some fight club split personality scenario...
I don't always play on a clock but i will never play in the 1 local tournament that doesn't allow them. My son and i will have casual games that take 4-5hrs. In a tournament setting i want to be respectful of my opponents time. I've been and played against the player who's taken 30 minutes to move their hoard army. Clocks make you respect each other's time. I get that it is intimidating for new players. My biggest fear was cutting into my opponent's time. Also, in response to that tournament who's rules to avoid using chess clocks: it's a chess clock with more steps.
My mate plays Orks. Dude deploys with ice cream buckets. Always have the best time being surrounded by 10,000 one year olds. The ice cream tubs were blue. Mfer was courting lady luck!
Gods, I'm dying! Peachy and Louise's reactions to the clock rules are priceless!
i agree. my parental units started laughing once I started playing the thing to them as well
I tell you for what, it’s exactly the same reaction we had in Rob’s chat when he told us

I really enjoyed Robs original video on the clock debacle, but this clock segment was truly a joy to watch unfold.
Id like to start a petition to get Spotify updated with the latest episodes please LOL!

Peachy saying "pardon my French" when Louise drops F bombs like every 2nd sentence 😂😂😂😂
Louise going on about the clocks had me laughing. Always enjoy the three of you coming together!
I absolutely love that at least one person seems to be slightly out of focus each episode. Genuinely, not a dig in any way, it makes me laugh a lot
I tend to notice Rob's stays in focus the most! 😂😂. That'll teach them 2 to be such wasteful recyclers! 😂😂. Keep the excellent episodes coming!

Top notch Juggz. Y'all were in top form this week. I'm less than halfway through and I've had to rewind half a dozen times to re-enjoy some bits.
Go Into the Water is my favourite Dethklok song.

I am totally here for Rob's grumpy/frustrated clock-based energy!
dear lord I'm crying listening to this. Would love to hear you three talk about Trench Crusade!
The Cloth Goblins video is one of my all time favourites. So wholesome.
Missed opportunity to name the episode "The only time we're having is a good time"
Never seen Rob's hair. This is like the scene in Firefly when Shepherd Book lets his hair down. It's always going to be there... Waiting....
I left my opinions on clocks in the suggestion box at the meeting of the local neighbourhood watch. I hope it reaches you guys in a timely manner.

Listening to Louise’s psyche unravelling from the clock rules have made me appreciate just how hard it is to be a man in the hobby.
How do I find the channel which was Peachy's second shout out? I can't find anything called 'norse paints', did I get it wrong?
