it's hard being a man in the hobby...so Rob stole Louise's camera
Can’t believe Sugs died overdosing on Chocomel in Amsterdam and they used AI to recreate her voice for this podcast. I miss her already, RIP 😢
RIP Sugs, pour out a Chocomel for our fallen sister
There needs to be more awareness about the dangers of Chocomel !
been replaced by 5U-G5
I never got her to sign my Jugzz 😞
Hype to randomly hear about SMC !! I’ll be going for first time this year just bringing some of my stuff over last years I’m proud of and meet some peeps and see some amazing bits, they have cool workshops too!
Big hype for it!
If the camera ever guts “juggzed “ again can we have a south park style mouth movement in the image ?
I wholeheartedly endorse this idea
Suggs isn't Canadian!
As a man in the hobby times can be tough. So once a week I enjoy watching some Juggz and that makes it all bearable.
Respectable
Louise, you making videos about the stuff you like is what makes it your channel. It could be said that if you do the videos people complain about you not making is you selling out, rather than you making the videos you want to make.
Long story short: keep doing you, it's what people watch your channel for, and it's what makes you happy.
Well said. It hurts me every time I hear Louise feel like she shouldn't be what she is.
I was in that bronze cutoff for the online MPO, and despite the initial sting, the mindset is to establish why, put some distance between you and your piece and figure it all out. The library of entries still being accessible is one of the coolest things to enable that.
Man, I just love seeing these world famous artists coming on Juggz.
I love that Louise's explanation for how someone could paint that good was "must have been a bigger miniature"
When I was a teen, I was sure they somehow used a robot to paint them!
I love watching Rob try and wrangle everyone else into a coherent format to get questions answered
Cult of Juggz: The Crossover You Never Knew You Needed
THIS ON A TSHIRT LOUISE OR WE RIOT lol
The cut to Rob after Peachy unknowingly put down slapchop when talking about slate sent me.
For reference watch from about 17 mins 28 seconds
This is actually insanely good - could Sean Bean not be convinced to make this - would 100% watch the bastard! Well done Peach
its so hard being a women in the industry they dont even film you
or
the company/podcast is getting so big they no longer show the artists face anymore/ not even the hands :p
Loved this ep. Andy really is the BOAT! I missed MPO this year but really need to go to the next one.
Some super interesting points as well, especially about the difficulties with content creation and the hurdles you face
Man, Andy seems like such a down to earth pleasant fellow. Such a difference versus Neil Hollis talking trash and mocking people in the hobby.
This guy knows how to fix your painting posture. Straighten that spine, Chat! Don't you scrunch up!!
I think all the Patreon supporters should get the additional collective title (beyond JUGGZheads) as “The Underwire” since that is bra technology for directly supporting juggs
Loved this, Andy was so interesting. It’s also comforting that the pro. UA-cam painters also have issues with camera focus as well 😂
Really enjoyed your gotrek and Felix though dude
@@richardgreathead5735Thank you 🙂
Love Andy as a guest! This was my favorite episode so far (yeah I know I am behind).
I can’t believe this channel doesn’t have more subs
Wife’s having surgery today so I’m glad I have this episode to help pass the time.
Hope it went well.
Nothing like passing the time with some lovely Juggz. Hope all went well with the surgery!
Fantastic episode. Like some, I was dubious about whether or not the MPO was for me, as a casual painter who occasionally pushes themselves, but hearing more about it, it definitely seems like my kind of event
It’s nice to hear people on your level struggle to paint on camera! I’ve been doing it for a year and still find it really difficult 😂great podcast, I’m really enjoying it.
I think this is my favorite video so far. Love you guys and what you do. Your guests are amazing.
I love painting and glancing up to see some juggz wiggling around on the screen. Another fantastic show, thanks guys. Makes me feel like I have friends in the room with me, even though I'm all alone.
been traveling and haven't had a chance to get caught up on all my Juggzy goodness. Glad to hear/see that the internet still has plenty of Juggz for me.
With respect to Suggz, I feel a lot of disappointment that your “technical difficulties” image isn’t a sassy nurgling
LOUISE! GORE GRUNTA FUR IS MY LEATHER PAINTING SECRET!!! (I use it for my Ork's pants over a rough zenithal highlight, it looks like awesome, worn leather.)
I know she thinks we don't like it when she talks, I'm really glad Sugs contributed so much this episode. Shame her camera wasn't working
I love sugs but she does talk too much. She interrupts people (especially the guest) too much.
@@ExtradaemonYTdo you understand how conversations work
@@ThorMan91587 Not sure you being that rude was entirely justified in the comments of a wholesome podcast episode, but yeah I obviously do lol
Thank you for teaching me what being "the G.O.A.T." means.
Love cult of paint, such a good tutorials and schemes every time.
I entered the MPO and it was one of the best things in my hobby was getting feedback from the judges! Thank you
Wow. Gone from only hands to just a voice. 😂 Great chat. Learned a ton. And i second the suggestion for the south park style flappy mouth animation for next time🤣
Ah Juggz, the pick me up I need in a turbulent world. Another great cast even with the missed opportunities around Lou’s Juggzed image, could have been brilliant. I loved the honesty around painting and Andy’s attitude towards judging a painting competition.
Important question though, Juggz Merch, when?
Great to have Juggz back this week! Was really interesting hearing Andy talk about the behind the scenes when it comes to judging
Rob's segues are so good he should be sponsored by Segway and ride one into shot every time he is setting up to drag the conversation back on topic! 😂
2 weeks without Juggz, I am bereft!.
Informative and excellent again. Learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed.. cheers 😃👍
Cult Of Paint is the best thing to happen to UA-cam Mininpainting
Luise, don't wory so much about the youtube meta. I love that your videos are so genuin.❤
Brilliant podcast! Hope Andy will be an regular.
So great to see the crew hanging out with Andy. My favourite episode yet
Henry's last name is steel? My god that's metal
Yet another great video from the Juggz team. Thank you for always showing us your Juggz.
As for the comments that went to Louise that put her down and about your content I would say those of us that come for your content we come for your content so don't feel like you need to change what you do for those people because you have a community that loves what you do and your personality very much bleeds in to your art. First time I went to Warhammer World and looked in the cabinets inside the store I always go for vampires, or elves or some gritty style fantasy minis and yet the one that blew me away the most was your Mindstealer Sphiranx. Absolutely loved it and was by far my favourite. As for the buttholes trying to get on your case remember that buttholes are there to let shit fall out and so don't let their shit get to you, just hold your nose and walk on. You're a star.
Andy Wardle on juggz ❤ awesome to watch, I'm behind but I'm catching up
Meet and Greet in Eindhoven!! Let's goooo!
This was a really good episode! I would love to see Andy again
last week had me worried! so good we now have our juggz back!
The Sorry Placeholder screen makes me laugh a lot!!!
Watching this episode while I build my first ever gundam and I ‘blame’ you guys entirely for that purchase.
Woo! Juggz time! Every time I see new Juggz I get very excited.
Amazing episode. Fascinating to hear Andy's perspective. Rob, take heart... You will likely never mess up that particular camera ever again. I feel your pain.
Rob, it’s hard to be a man in the hobby. It’s even harder for being a human. Outstanding leadership to lean into the camera thing. Loving all of your work, “tell your sister to keep up the good work” highlight on comment retort of the week, no year!
More, more more of you all please 🙏
Catching up on episodes :) Just wanted to say that my GF and I really loved Louise's video on the LEGO D&D set. It was the final nudge to buy it ourselves ^^''
We love all of you and the content you produce!
Oh speaking of shows; Crisis Antwerp will take place on the 7th of September. It's the first one after Brexit and Covid. It will certainly be smaller than earlier editions though. And I think there will only be European companies, none from the UK.
Interesting to hear your thoughts about negative comments. The main reason people comment is to get your attention. When you reply to comments you reward the behaviour. It's then a choice of rewarding desired behaviour by being selective around where you give attention. I'm not suggesting you treat replying to comments like a Pavlov's dogs experiment/operant conditioning but the main principle applies.
UA-cam views (including with Patreon members) is like email marketing. You have to expect only a small portion of your audience to engage. Rather than focus on numbers remember that you are building a relationship over time. It's about creating touch points. If I see your video in my feed but was too busy to watch it, the very act of seeing your video thumbnail has created a touch point. The better my relationship with you the more I'm inclined to take positive action.
It’s taken a few days to watch but this video was really good. Seeing people passionate about their Thing is always great.
Peachy going for ~Smoldering~ at the end sent me.
as much as I loved the episode with Oculus, Andy is SUCH a good guest!!! Do bring him back!
Not a jab, Rob genuinely has the best laugh ever.
Louise saying baklava with the apology screen up caught me off guard for some reason. Thank you.
I have a computer playing Rob’s slapchop video on repeat at my work to get 1 mill. views for Rob. (Don’t tell my boss)
+1 for the scrunched-up ball, blistered hands painting method (also gritted teeth and squinty eyes).
Do you use a mini stand
@@murphy7801 like a grip? It depends on the size of the mini or sub-assembly. I usually tack it to a cork.
I struggle with making hobby time, I have two jobs and work 60-80 hour weeks to help support the family. I’ve come up with an idea that each week I use Juggz as hobby time on one night a week. Let’s see what I can get finished in 2:01:09.
I like robs hearty laughs
Agree he has a very wholesome laugh
Having cat hairs and random bits land on my model without me realising used to really vex me! But now I agree with Andy, it's just an ickle bump! I've also noticed that sometimes that the texture can look like interesting battle damage/scratches 💪.
I would love to see a proper mixed media miniature one day with lots of different texture! 👀
This time on Juggz:
Andy Dle will top everything.
Sugs stays rigid.
Somehow, Peachy still prefers Slaanesh.
So you will start selling the Louise graphic as a T-shirt and Hoodie right?
BTW Louise the video about your Paint set was a painting video. You were teaching us how to mix paint
Such a great episode, guys. Very inspirational. 🖤
andy is a great guest! would love to here more from him. would love to here more from henry too.
great to see a male guest on the show, we know what it's like being a man in the hobby
seems like Henry is a true Brit
Fun episode! shame about the technical issues. Was Andy at Salute this year? I'm wondering if a saw him but had no idea who he was since I don't know what anyone looks like.
Should've had Tine animate a 2d Louise photo jib jab/ Monty Python style lol😛
I wouldn't consider myself an incredible painter, but I really relate to Louise going from an army painter to being unable to paint an army. I've made a tonne of effort to improve my painting in the last year and I get overwhelmed with painting units. However, I absolutely love painting characters and I love pushing myself. I have increased my basic unit standard a lot, but it's definitely not as enjoyable for me than when I'm painting big models or characters
Robert George juggzed up the camera should be a mug or t shirt
Working on some German tanks listening to this & my Stug is now called Louise.
The Chibiwan vid was amazing, Rob struggling to keep the Juggz chaos on point is god tier... The Juggz Chaos is my spirit animal..... though im seeing a Rhino cosplaying as a Unicorn... A Juggz Chaos Rhino cosplaying as a Unicorn is my spirit animal... or Vehicle... so a Juggz Choas Rhino cosplaying as a Unicorn is my Spirit Transport.
Been mad busy at work so it took me about 4 attempts to get the whole video watched but absolutely worth it :) cheers
While I definitely want to see more painting videos on Rogue Hobbies, you're paint set video is one of my favorites on UA-cam. I've watched it repeatedly and had to buy the set as soon as I saw what the colors could do.
Great episode! Andy is the boat
Out in the van with 5 minutes left of the audiobook. Ideal timing 👍
I just found this channel and its awesome
I love Juggz, shame Louise's camera was not there. Great interview and a giggle as usual.
"You paint like my sister!"
"I guess I would much rather have her as my viewer then..."
I took a shot of whiskey every time Rob juggzed up the camera...my liver transplant is scheduled for tomorrow
So much shade thrown at rob for the camera work. Granted, what the hell Rob?
Brilliant video. You guys are always great and I could listen to Andy all day long.
Such a good episode!! I could listen to Andy the whole day
Going to try and paint my Rascletown Goblin friend for the scale model challenge. It's going to be trash, but I'm excited to enter my first competition
I always get excited when I watch a video of Juggz
I love the Boat ❤😂 this was one of the best ep, even though every ep is great
Does anyone know when the podcasts will get uploaded to spotify etc?
6:50 Most expensive 5quid his dad ever spent.
Hey, I remember peachy mentioning how to find a paint scheme for an army. What are the three models he said to paint to develop a scheme?
As a Canadian I approve of "Canadian Flesh Tone"
It's rainin' jugz! Hallelujah.
1:15:15 Andy’s Mac-Raa-Jay blue for Maccragge blue was hilarious 😅
What was the name of the martial arts channel Rob was watching? Went back on the transcript after watching and can't find it :(
I was bereft without my dose of Juggz last week - this has absolutely made my day! Great interview with Mr Dle - really interesting to get an insight into how judging works at comps.
Also good to see the balance being redressed for men in the hobby by hiding Sugs - women have had it too easy for too long… 😂
