yes you can they freeze well.
we love this recipe, but why not put carrots in crockpot then pour the brown sugar mixture over them and mix in crockpot. You don't waste any of that seasoning and you don't dirty up another bowl? I subbed cant wait to see more recipes.
Thank you and yes you can do it that way. my reason was at the time the camera i had was to good and where i had to sit the crockpot was very little light. so i mixed in a bowl so every one could see what they should look like cause it was to dark to see inside the pot.

high 2 hours low 3 hours. check how tender every hour and stop when a fork goes in easy
