My wife is from Japan. She doesn't like American mainstream tofu. She saw a kid in San Francisco in a Sylvia with the Japanese language "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" sticker and looked it up expecting a (far superior) local tofu shop. That's how we found Initial D.

I have a 2017 86. I have 108,000 miles on it as I have daily driven it since i bought it new. I grocery shop for a family of 4 every two weeks. If the trunk on the newer 86 is about the same it is more than plenty.

Had to drop in and watch this again. I had a Trueno reserved, but found a white '23 with only 3k miles and scooped it up. I guess that answers the question!

  • @wild_lee_coyote

The other cool thing about the Trueno package is that all the parts like the breaks and shocks are designed to be swapped onto the the regular GR86. So if you are unlucky to get your hands on the outrageously marked up 860 Truenos, you can still get the performance. Love the Trueno blue of this one.

I cosigned for a loan on a 2013 Sion FRS for my daughter .After having the car for a while I took over the payments from her. I kept the car as a daily driver for three years. The car was a fun little car to drive. The handling was great. My wife and I took it to Colorado on vacation. Driving thru the Rocky's was very fun. Took in up to Pikes peak it was awesome .The car was a blast to drive. I really enjoy watching Sarah's video's and driving impressions.

I loved this review as the owner of a 2022 Limited automatic Subaru BRZ. The only interesting fact about these cars I would like to add to Sarah's review is these relatively low priced cars have the exotic feature of aluminum front fenders, hood, and top. I chose the BRZ over the GR86 because reviews indicated the BRZ is better for tracking a low lap time on a race course, whereas the GR86 is "more tossable" as in drifting.

I’m both a Cynophile as well as a ailurophile. I had for a time both growing up together at my home in Colorado. I have a 2017 86 with the 2.0L boxer 4. The best way to smooth out that hp and torque dip is to replace the stock exhaust header with a uneven exhaust header. It makes that wonderful sound and no dip that my butt dyno could perceive. Great vid! Hope to see more. 👍🏻

SACHS dampers and Brembo breaks will be a package for 2024 model year - no need to order limited Trueno edition (order availability in November, delivery next winter). Also, that package can be retrofitted to current GR86s, and I read somewhere, that that retrofitting will be offered at official dealerships.

Owning one, I really love it. The power is more than fine for the road. You can easily lose traction in the dry at high RPMs. The speed at which it revs from 5500 to 7400 RPM is pretty insane. Easy to bounce off the rev limiter if your not shifting fast enough.
The problem with the car is that it encourages you to push it and that's when your starting to exceed the speed limit. Anymore power and you'll just overload the chassis and to get the thrill of driving it hard, exceed the speed limit excessively. And I don't want my car crushed by the state for "excessively speeding."

I figured out after buying the brz that both of these cars have 3 different modes of traction control modes. You have “track”, “traction control off”, and if you press and hold both you get everything off and the track tachometer.

That tiny back seat floor mat is hilarious. Never seen anything quite like that.

Your 5.10 right ! I think you would have the same problem in the jump seats of the S550 Stang, a greater problem in the 5th and 6th Gen Camaro jumper, and look how big and heavy they are 🤷🏾‍♀️
