- Welcome to this pedalboard build video. It is high time I got stuck in and updated this pedalboard as it has been around the world with me since 2020 / 2020.

That switcher is huge! I quite like the one you removed...apart from the dodgy switch.
Yeah its pretty large isn't it! Well that old switcher is available 😉

For midi I am really thinking about getting a Morning Star MC6 so I can actually see names of presets. Its taking me a while to really get into midi, but if done right can be a game changer.
Oh cool mate, I would love to see your board once you implement the midi.
It's definitely a step over the edge for me though ha ha. I don't think my small set up warrants it.
@@hellosailoreffectsofficialRight now I have a Temple Audio board, Duo 34. I will be tight but I can get the MC6 on it. My midi pedals are Strymon Volante and Deco v2, Source Audio Ventris and Atlas compressor. Well I guess my HX Stomp XL would count also. Those and 5 drive pedals. I play pretty much everything and I cant think of much I cant do with my setup, but I thinks its going to take a fairly good midi controller to reign it all in. Could I get by with a way smaller board? Yea lol But my goal is to just get it set up right and be basically done. Its been curated over about 10 years lol Just the idea of being able to be playing some cool spring tank surf type stuff then hit a single button and be playing down tuned metal is what I am aiming for lol

@masterofreality230 I really want to try the deco for an always on short delay bit never got round to it. How do you use it?
I appreciate the irony that the same person who keeps saying “I’m not that good at that” in reference to elements of setting up a board also is the person who has literally BUILT two of the pedals on that board. 😅
Ha ha ha ha ha very true my friend. I tend to think of myself as an amateur pedalboard builder 😊

Build a pedalboard that u can comfortably hand carry
I play at home mate. No need to carry. Previously I used this for a few years whilst serving on a T23 frigate and a smaller board would have no doubt been preferable.

@@hellosailoreffectsofficial yeah, it was a half cooked idea at practice when my drummer said “we should just ignore Aaron”, lol. It then turned into a bit of a “am I a ghost? Am I just severely ignored”? Either way it was a blast to shoot.
It turned out great! You played the part perdmfectly 😂
