I like the old-gen map over the next-gen one. It was actually layered so you could tell terrains, like tan for desert or beach, green for forest or grassland, grey for urban areas, etc.
in the mission "franklin and lamar" you can see two new things: 1. during the credits, there is an "albany alpha" parked in the parking lot. 2. when you pass the house's back door, you see a cat jumping off the wall.
+Darren Woloshyn Actually GTA V is supposed to load better on next-gen. GTA V is still a last-gen game, even with FPS and better graphics. Even with all that, the game should load faster than old gen.

This video made me sad because when GTA V was released on 2013 (I was 13) I literally cried from joy watching the trailer, it became my life's dream to play GTA V. I saved up for a super slim ps3 back in 2015 just so I could play the game. Next-gen was released a few months after that. The point of me buying console was because I cant afford a PC setup, my craptop could only run GTA IV at the lowest qualities on 800x600. I would do anything to have GTA V on the new gen setup. It was the GTA series I started playing when I was 5 where titles like SA and VC introduced me to great music and where I learned *most* of my english. ;) First world problems, I know. But damn I wish I could experience 1st person shooting and the joy of mods customizing your game, which gave me a lot of joy in my lonely childhood. I've played EVERY gta title including 1&2 (have to admit I pirated them all, I'm not from the US) and would love to play this next gen title.

Am i the only one who prefers the old radar? The new one's gps arrow and distance display looks better and has colours, and the new one is gray on white and "leaks".
Some brand new easter eggs were added((like peyote and murder mystery)both of them were solved), better AI and car damage system, new animals, plants, new objects in online creator,possibility to buy collector's edition weapons and cars, new weapons,better online character editor, contents for returning players and some more things, that you didn't mention.

Minor Difference but, Soldiers that spawn at Fort Zancudo in last gen had real US Army patches and insignias, but in Next Gen, they have fictional divisions and insignias, possibly to avoid copyright problems.
I'm happy to support a video that acknowledges all the work Rockstar put into the next gen, and it was a substantial difference then previous gen consoles. More than worth it for me to buy, and I feel it was necessary to bring the game into its true glory and potential. Of course you forgot the military vehicles, clothes, hairstyle and makeup options, items, and new weapons, that mostly came with online play. Still a suffice video.
I sorta have a feeling the game was limited by a lot since last gen was aging, and they simply had to cut corners. Like not everything having open interiors like in gta iv, map size etc.
Here's a few more differences: the existance of peyote plants, HD textures and highpoly characters, DX11 shaders, Weapons look slightly different, VIPs in online, mods, updated, the list goes on XD
I know it’s 4 years later but I discovered the fuel actually can go down if you shoot above the back wheel of the left of the car making the fuel leak. You’ll be able to see it go down over time while in first person. Only problem is you won’t be able to refill it and now it can catch on fire

In my opinion GTA V wasn't well optimized for Old-Gen. Heavy FPS drops and the textures were so bad that sometimes I just couldn't enjoy the game. Glad we got it for Next gen :D
It really wasn't that well optimized for Old gen, It fucking broke after a while, to the point of being completely unplayable, and even acted alot like GTA 4's PC port.
I only had a FPS drop on old gen once, and it was because of a hacker that spawned on the Maze Bank like-15?) noirs and... well... a robot made of chrome rigs, which would just constantly explode without getting damaged. I wonder if you ever played on old gen (ps3 slim 500GB)
nfs did it better with just specular light on the side mirrors and a camera facing backwards for the mirror inside the car. No one crying about something not being in the reflection because that 1 shader would turn a game into a powerpoint slideshow...
I found out (and i got the experiment from a video) that if you shoot your gas tank that it leaks fuel from the Pier you can make it to the prison in sandy shores
you forgot some of the obvious things like more consistent frame rate, and no more pop in. so you won't go driving into any lamp posts. better draw distance, improved textures, additional random events. really this video could do with a part 2. also i bought next gen just because i bought a PS4 and i was too lazy to plug my 360 in just to play gta 5. but jesus it's such a huge difference. you don't realise until you actually play it. but the old gen feels outdated.

DLC vehicles in old-gen they are free(if you have any garage or hangar) In enhanced, they're purchasable.
I like the fact that there's a more detail on the map but I miss the colours stuff indicating grass and sand

Ormi Ader If I remember correctly, the meter will show that you don't have any fuel left. Anyways, this is the only way to waste all gasoline.
