Did you know that the player had a Zippo ligher, Glock and more mysterious weapons? That's right, there are tons of leftovers found in the game files and thanks to them, we can discover more of these removed weapons.

Let’s all admit that the Glock model with laser sights would of been a lot doper for GTA V.
the "tear gas" grenade in the underbellies of paradise bit is actually a flash bang, you can make out the text on the side that says "flash bang" lol

Ironically, flashbangs or even smoke grenades would be far more useful in GTAO. If you're getting outgunned or outnumbered, just toss a couple smoke grenades, go off the radar, and get out of there.

@@nickwhite8723 ikr, the hammer on the Taurus is weirdly too big in game. Should have just used the model from max Payne 3. I'm sorry but the gun models from max Payne 3 is WAY better than gta 5....that's sad tbh
the laser sights woulda been a cool thing to add to the Mk. II weapons in GTA Online, making them more high tech than just being able to use different types of bullets.

The MG is actually a PK with a 54 round box. We know this because it loads from the right side and just the general shape of the body and gas tube/block. The rate of fire also supports this theory. It’s further supported once you attach the extended magazine, which is the famous PK box mag.

They mixmatched the weapon models. So you cannot ID the exact real life counterpart. Focus how Combat MG sounds like a mix of M60 and M249 (.mk46 version)

@@Porty900 it wasn't at all. It even had the M4's triangle front sight. The CR in game doesn't even look like a proper 416 with it's handguard and short barrel.
the rifle model from the artwork is actually from one of the Max Payne multiplayer dlcs. It has all the attachments as they were in the artwork too
I guess they removed this many things because of Xbox 360 and PS3 limitations

I think they removed the laser sight because it's kinda pointless if you already have a crosshair. Besides, I guess the flashlight does the job better.

The guns in V are so bad. They all feel identical and aren't fun to use at all. GTA IV and Max Payne 3 were so amazing simply because of how the weapons feel.
From what I can gather, from the Ammu-Nation wall picture.. There was supposed to be another AR, based on the Masada ACR, or possibly the Remington ACR. There was also a G3 based Machine Gun with the others, The H&K 21. You can also see there, that they wanted to include the XM-25 Airburst Grenade Launcher, and that the Assault Rifle we have in game was meant to be the classic iconic AK, known mostly as the AK-47. Similarly, the Sniper Rifle was meant to be portrayed as the Accuracy International L96 or L115, rather than loosely similar. Same goes for the Heavy Sniper and the Barrett M82A1 / M107. And the pump shotgun and Mossberg 500 Persuader. As well as that the USAS UTS-15 shotgun was to be included.
So much stuff that would've been great addition was removed from GTA V.
Vehicles, Weapons, Attachments for Weapons, Gameplay Details and General Gameplay Content like accessible entertainment and restaurant interiors, multiple activities like Pimping, Weight Lifting, Pool, the Stunt Arena and many, many others. And that's not even scratching the surface with what Rockstar Games cut and changed dramatically.
GTA V really was a downgrade over the previous games, which is a freaking shame. Hopefully Rockstar uses the billions they made from GTA V and GTA Online to make GTA VI or whatever they call it, the GTA San Andreas of this generation, a masterpiece that pushes this generation to its limits and beyond to make the ultimate open world GTA experience.

traci beachel I kinda agree with you, on one hand you have San Andreas fans, who'll call you a five year old if you prefer GTA 5 over GTA sa, on the other you have GTA 4 fans who won't stop bashing GTA 5 and reminding everyone of why GTA 4 is better, when compared to GTA 5 (completely subjective). Most of the hate started to come from crowbcat's video, not saying he's a bad content creator because he clearly isn't, my one gripe with the video was that it only showed the strengths of GTA 4, crowbcat has a large following so most of the people who watched the video just agreed with crowbcat's opinion, people who didn't even play the game. Then everyone started to make reaction videos which created even more hate. Incapable people who can't even form an opinion, just bluntly agreed with everything they were shown. GTA five is also hated because of GTA online, which in my opinion is a horrible cash grab. The GTA community is in such a bad state, where fanboys keep on arguing left and right. It's okay to like a game in a series but then you have these idiotic comments that are very infuriating to read. One thing that is beyond me is that when GTA 4 released most fans were disappointed, many people didn't like the serious tone, many complained about the lack of customization, driving physics, small map and so much more, so when these complaints were finally addressed in GTA 5, it was shocking to see people still complain, like make up your damn mind. I also find it funny when people link crowbcat's video as to why GTA 4 is better, just showing how pathetic some of the haters are.

Just like they did with Vice City, only the PS2 version has accurately modelled guns, in all other versions, they changed all of the weapons names and redesigned it, making them less accurately modelled. Maybe is because some copyright or some stuff like that.

Well, after the Diamond Casino Heist update, we now have got the 'Glock' pistol which is the 'Ceramic' pistol in GTA online.

funny thing about rockstar is rhat they have a history of using guns from there older games for artwork for their new gta game, for example in the gta 6 art work, jason is seen holding the pistol in gta 5 but in the trailer he is seen holding a 1911

Rockstar made a big mistake removing the Glock pistol, the Glock is extremely popular handgun and was a much loved weapon in GTA 4, it's sad to think we will never get it in the game as people ask for it and rockstar never listen to the community.
traci beachel when Leslie benzies was still in he listens to everything, since they kicked him out they have never listened, the only thing they say now is generic robotic answers and never answers any problems.
AK47 KUSSSHH it's close but it just isn't, they have changed it that much that the only thing on it that resembles a Glock is the back end of the barrel but other than that they changed it too much for it to resemble the Glock.

They should've added the Glock. The regular Pistol looks... terrible. Like if someone managed to make a more ugly and worse version of a Taurus PT-92. Somehow.
They should've kept the programmable AR/GL, since the compact grenade launcher makes the grenade launcher itself kinda redundant. Plus, the grenade launcher isn't that good.

I hope in gta 6 they fix the guns. The guns don’t feel good to use in gta 5. Red dead’s guns feel great to use and have amazing sounds but all gta 5 weapons just sound super tingy
And gta 5 guns are too recoiless, and automatic ones has little to no spreading when shooting, why Rockstar dumbed down the guns mechanics when they could just copy Max Payne material..

It makes no sense because the Glock is perfect for a urban setting. It’s super popular among criminals and police.
There's also a loading screen in Michael holding a M16 don't know which one though
He is holding Mk 18 with a suppresor and Comp M2/M3 red dot sight. Trevor also can be seen with this gun on other artworks. I believe Rockstar made these artworks simply by making the actors pose with a real weapons/airsoft guns in their hands, took a pictures and later photoshopped them to look more cartoonish. Weapons seen on these artworks could be never intended to be in actual game.

It was an MK18 or a CQB M4A1, not an M16. An M16 has a visible barrel and is a rifle, not a carbine. While the carbine on the loading screen clearly has a short barrel.

I think, the lighter feature was cut, because the player would have to have BOTH , just to ignite the gasoline. Imagine pouring gasoline and you have no lighter. Sure, you can make a lighter spawn, if the play didn't have one, but when this last lighter is dropped wrong or specifically: didn't hit the trail, there is no way to finish the mission. being able to shoot the gasoline was more convenient, as it also allows doing that from a greater distance by a sniper and it also ruled out another set of ammunition counter and item wheel icon.
This was more likely being patched out in QA and Playtesting Phase. Now all this artwork do, is to look intimidating.
Except, firing into gas on dirt wont ignite its among other surfaces

The Glock would've been so much better of a choice over the 92 series guns. It would just fit better in the more modern era that gta v is set in.

problem is that many removed weapons are reskinned from the ones we got in the game
There are three to four new blank holding spots in ammunition. These might have the beta weapons such as the Glock, Assault Sniper, (unknown named) grenade launcher, and Heavy Rifle
now i'm pretty sure that gta 5 was released as an unfinished game
With things such as video games, that is always the case. You can always add more, fix more, make something look or work better, add more details, etc.

I felt the opposite way actually. I feel like it's one of the most polished and fine tuned games ever made, especially when it was released. Until now, it keeps blowing my mind as I find out about more details and mechanics. Did you see the Attention to detail series by Vucko100? If you don't easily notice details and if you didn't play the game as much, you'll be really suprised after watching these videos how much detail is involved in it. Or maybe you didn't play on new gen/PC. Either way, yes there are many bugs and mistakes and weird things, but that happens with all games, and the amount of details and work put into the game makes up for it
Gta 4 was literally rushed. They were gonna be a ton of features for that game but they removed it.
Gta 5 feels way more finished.
I agree, GTA IV brought few new great things, nice graphics and a great storyline, but the work with new engine was very rushed, starting from cutting all the possible features with the new engine (many of those we now see in GTA V) and ending with terrible optimalization, especially on PC. Same thing goes for example for LA Noire, which used a completely different engine and optimalization was terrible again. Rockstar will probably use RAGE engine again in the next GTA, as it is used for Red Dead Redemption 2, so we can expect a game even more fine tuned and detailed than GTA V. Rockstar overall has a lot of trouble adapting fast to a new engine, but once they do, they use it to its full potentional

I remember hating the laser sight in Max Payne 3 and I would not pick them up unless I absolutely have to, they removed your crosshair and they made the guns have more recoil for some reason

Just because The charecters hold certain guns in artwork doesn’t mean it’s a cut weapon like there’s a crowbar in one of gta Ivs loading screen artworks and it’s not a weapon in game or was ever intended
In your tear gas section the underbelly of paradise picture actually says "Flash bang" underneath some words which I believe says M80, which is a real flashbang. This would have been useful, unlike the tear gas which does nothing at all.

Well the ceramic pistol kind of resembles a glock, and its purpose was inspired by an inaccurate description of the glock from Die Hard 2. Specifically a character in Die Hard 2 said that the glock was made of porcelain and could pass through metal detectors undetected.
We need an M16, or any rifle with a longer, visible barrel. Not the gross CQB type guns in this game.
@@estlin2001 you might want to check out the H&K P7. It looks practically identical to the ceramic pistol (more than a glock anyways)

The fact that you compared the Glock to the G-38 disgusts me. The under barrel part is too rid-get to really match the Fixed model. The model looks like a G-17, G-18, and the G-45.

I would say the RPD had been turned into a PKM for GTA5. The model for the MG has much much more resemblance to the PKM. Especially the stock, and also the fact that it feeds from right to left instead of left to right.
Note that the heavy pistol is literally a 1911 with a red dot sight on it.
*it isn't. It's made by a different company called Enterprise Arms. It has different dimensions and a full rail. It's not a colt 1911, which is clearly what people want.

TheCyberPunkDud01 Their busy with Red Dead Redemption 2 right now and they already said that the after hours is their last DLC update...Eventhough if they made a new update they aren't going to add the cut features. Forgot about Gta San Andreas? Forgot about Gta IV? Did you even forget about the cut features since 2013? all those updates and Rockstar haven't uploaded any of them in 5 years.
I would've love to see a Glock-style pistol making the cut in the final release of GTA 5.

It isn't based on a Taurus pt-92. It's based on a Beretta 92. The Taurus is a clone model. They didn't invent it.
Also, that isn't a "saw toothed blade". It's a bone saw. And even if it were, it would be called "serration".

Why rockstar done want to use the real name or models for the weapons or cars? Why they’re avoid getting copyrights while other games use the same model and names for the weapons?
