He doesn't answer questions, he takes you on a journey, an amazing story teller
Well when you're talking to someone who's as high as he is, it don't take much for them to talk. Luckily, this guy can keep himself talking about the same subject and talking about what the question is about. Usually you ask one of these guys a question, they'll answer but then they'll take you down the rabbit hole.
Boring ass same ol same ol crap lol. This is your inspiration huh? Introduce your kids to this guy then. Dumbass lmao
TruePatriot1776 ** take the positive not the negative you dumb fuck
Yea drugs tend to take you on a journey lol
I loved it!
He's being so honest, leaving himself so vulnerable. Respect to him.
I didn’t find him honest. I also don’t think someone who has 8 children and is a addict has no respect from me.
@P Johnson respect for the bold guym dissrespect for you anonymus P Jhonson guy
DrQupax: What?! You respect him? He's still a gang member. He robs, with a knife, sold crack cocaine to kids and his whining about getting thrown in jail. "Fuck that" blah, blah. PUHLEEZE!!
@@jenniferwilcox9759 selling drugs to kids its a mens thing.... RESPECT
@@adrirami8806 ur clearly a kid or just childish af for ur age my guy🤣ur that one kid who wants to be "cool" by doing stupid things that are actually just fuckin u up.
Spooky survived his environment. He lived to tell. Addiction is spiritual warfare. His story could help so many that have experienced his battles. Thru all of it he’s smart and strong. The recovery community needs him. He could be a circuit speaker for AA , HA ,CA, NA!
My guy has reflected on his life many times while locked up and replayed it over and over you can tell he’s battled inside himself while locked up
Dude is intense, he talks about his past and then reflects on it and then removes himself from it in one statement.
It's because he's gacked out on meth. Watch his other interview, you can see a big difference.
zackcraft how did you know the word gacked? And I still never seen a tweaker be able todo that. I knew I wasn’t the only one that noticed this
@@djtanikgotbeatz read it on the internet years ago and it stuck with me haha
Fuck your varrio ese
I’m 2 and a half minutes in and thought I was 20 minutes in. Lol. He is intense.
He sounds like he’s had a lot of time to talk to himself. It’s what happens when intelligence is hampered by depression and loneliness.
Joshua Snore please don’t judge please
@@sherrycissokho-parker2988 it's true tho
Joshua Snore That’s what the SHU does too you. Some deserve to be in there... Most don’t. The Pigs use it to force compliance
Its drugs, mostly.
When people finally open there eyes........
Dang. I feel horrible at the fact that he, so vividly, remembers being beaten by his step dad. He took us to the place and time and made us relive what he lived. He is a trip to watch. He’s so animated in the way he tells his stories. Hoping he gets clean and that he is able to maybe do some community work. He would do great talking to the kids. He grabs your attention.
Prayers in Jesus name for a clean and healthy life so he can enjoy his children. Great video!
😞
Shows just how strong the brain is, it’s still something left of him! I can’t wait until he gets himself together.
I love this interview the entire thing feels like a monologue or a one man performance
Interviewer didn't even need to show up.
You're gay
He knows the questions the interviewer wants to hear before he gets asked
That’s two people.. spooky and meth
He didn't just tell his story, he relived it. That was intense. Him acting out his feelings of what his "father" did to him.
He needed saved from his parents at birth.
step father*
You realize he’s coked out of his mind right ?
@@youtubeadministration1059 I do 😂🤣😅
@@youtubeadministration1059 you ain never met someone so damaged by the street life? Some them just act like this . My neighbors got small autism and he's Jamaican. He acts like this. And he's sober. I can vouch that. I tell u the Jamaican part cause it adds to his character

Stay in school!
This guy is one of the most haunted souls I’ve seen on this channel.. the way he acts out his past shows he’s living his damage daily..
cus thats what a true gang member is and looks like
I think he's wise enough to save a soul,I change my ways thanks to him.pray for him all the time.
This comment Aminoto ...is the finest of comments. Thank you.
Or is it cause he's tweaking...
Spooky, I'm proud of you. Keep living and speaking your truth. Your words at the end were especially touching and moving. Keep speaking those words. I cheer you on 100%.
He's definitely high. So many like him in the hood I grew up in. Super intelligent, but the drugs make them ramble and jump from place to place, get more animated etc. I hope he can shake it and put his Master's Degree to work!
These people never meet the need. If they did drugs would not exist. He cares about himself, period. He surviving. He’s not a real man. Old school is tough; all due respect to our ancestors when men where men. This guys are a cha cha. Why because I had a father-in-law that taught me, you need balls to raise a family,
@@mjpena53 Stfu with your fake ass. The hell did half of that even mean lol. Never "meet the need"...drugs wouldn't exist?? And of course my favorite, "Men aren't men now"---Yeah bud this is how "real men" talk, whatever this bullshit is you're blabbing about.
@@mjpena53 your rant is so contradicting. Try reading
I mean...it could be drugs. But it could also be the fact that hes spent time in prison for so long and probably the hole. That drives people insane. I (tried to date) a guy who did almost his whole sentence in the hole lol and he is very crazy. Cant have a normal convo with him even though it feels like you are, something always reminds you you're not. He'd suddenly do or say something thats totally irrelevant and quite alarming. Cant get a word in edgewise because he's going a mile a minute. And his laugh is unbridled like, it freaked me out, and i stopped talking to him....hes in prison again now for bringing a gun to WORK. i think he did it on purpose because the outside is too much for him, hes verryyyyyyy paranoid. Yet he doesnt do an INCH of drugs. At all. Hes just...crazy. "Spooky" looks like a taller version of the guy too.
Just my opinion, but I see bipolar. Probably history of drugs too, and may be high in the video, but maybe just all bipolar. Many people with drug problems also have mental illness. They tend to go hand in hand,
Make sure you invite spooky back in the future. He’s had the best stories so far in my opinion.
U should watch Sammy the bull EX mafia hit man
Watch Johnny reflections of a gangster
He did but Johnny is also deep
The way i talk stories when am drunk
Imagine him off drugs, he would be an incredible writer, poet, an inspiration to others in this lifestyle.
Word
This guy give me the energy to just reflect twice on my actions
He is off drugs tho...
He would be. Violence is blinding him.
Doubt it. All these thugs can't be Pac lol
Listen to the song Lil Homies by Tupac. That song really captures the psyche of these gang members
“ASK ME A QUESTION ILL TELL YOU MY LIFE”
Very intense individual.
He reminds me so much of my childhood best friend, his whole family gang banged he didn’t want part of it but as we grew up he had no choice but to join the gang. He was convicted of life without parole when he was 20.. he wrote to me the first 2 years after that i never heard of him again.
Right?
you need to write your bro if he is still alive or at least put some money on his books
I love what you are doing. Showing people the real world. Giving these people a chance to tell their story. Sometimes as a person that’s all we really have.
This guy could be a actor just like Danny Trejo, with the right opportunities.
Yep
Check out Richard Cabral
That's exactly what I was thinking @ tafari boozer! He so real! So interesting! Good soul , respectful, smart!
nah he would hate it. just because hes latin american doesnt mean he coould be an actor like danny trejo. theyre from 2 different worlds
@@enlightened1onewon you might say, but Danny Trejo has went through hell and back buddy, most people just see the success. Even though he has 300 Film credits to his name, Desperado, Heat, just to name a few. During his time as a youth he was in and out of detention centers all over California. They included Folsom, Soledad and San Quentin. But he was a light weight or welterweight champion in every prison he has been in. Danny Trejo has spent 11 years in and out of prison during the sixties for armed robberies and drug related offenses. At one time he almost face the death penalty while he was incarcerated. So he lived that life, trust me if he can change so could this guy.
LOL "son of a gun!" He's a very likable guy. Hope he's got a true second chance with an honorable life.
other than the meth yeah
What do you consider a honorable life? Paying illegal taxes? Working a 9-5 in the hopes when you retire you can live 10-15 years on what money you can save? Fuck being a square learn a hustle and do what makes you smile everyday

Ive never commented on any of these vids before but this guy is so captivating to watch and listen too,, hope all goes well for him,,,he has my respect and well wishes ,,i know its means nothing ,,,i hope he reads this and feels good about himself,,,
This guy is one of the most unusal speakers I've ever listened too. Each question becomes a play. And he lives every emotion.
Yes. That’s because he’s very high
On cocaine
Reminds me of Tom Hardy in Bronson
He’s twacked out his mind that why.
@@abes3925wrong! He has a masters in Psychology. His mind is right it’s the world that broke him.
@@abes3925his soul is broken not his mind.
His manner of speaking is similar to spoken word poetry, or like a monologue from a scene in a play...it's really wonderful. Dude should be a writer. He could get through to so many people living lives similar to his.
Yes, I see this too, he could be a writer or narrator he definitely has something that's quite amazing.
That is what I think too. He sounds like a he is doing a play.

AMAZING...with the soul emotion he spoke throughout his poem. Spooky could really reach out to the masses is such positive ways of when his heart and soul shines. I hope he watched this and has seen his own tremendous presentation throughout the POSITIVE gifts/talents he possesses.
He has mannerism of DMX.. can tell he is a great guy just fighting demons
You right.
Great guy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He maybe alright but great? You reachin.
He is gakked out.. On dope
Youre right.
Weirdly, he speaks highly of his mother, yet she chose a man over him/her son. And she let that man abuse him. And she let him go out to the streets at age 12.
MsFyt80 I’ve notice boys have this undying need to be loved by their mothers. It’s a unbreakable loyalty . I’ve noticed guys stick to their moms and girls stick to their dads. Maybe it’s the need for that affection of the opposite sex?
I feel like a lot of Hispanic men put their mothers on pedestals no matter what. Idk

It always goes back to a lack of parenting. This is an intelligent guy who could’ve really gone places.
Katie, what are you talking about ? The men went places ! Crack houses, jail and other cool places
Oh he’s defiantly fried his brain. And obviously high af. I’m saying if you can read people at all, if he had had the right guidance he might not have ended up how he is. Apparently you’re all just here to talk shit and pass judgement. Doesn’t phase me 🤷🏼♀️
jose velasquez is that where you met?
I couldn’t agree me more, I have a lot of friends that have fallen foul to the same demons, unfortunately they did not have the best upbringings or stable home lives, this led to them all going down the wrong road. I have a picture of myself and my best friends when we were kids, in total there was about 15 of us, there is now only 3 of us lift that have not either died or fallen victims to addiction. It’s a sad reality
Having the gift of the gab makes you an interesting person to speak to socially; but it does not necessarily make you intelligent, However you could come across a fairly intelligent person in college that has the worst common sense, which usually results in poor choices and reckless behaviour that can be equally as dangerous.
It’s terrible that for some from birth the odds were unfairly stacked against them.
No child in this world deserves such an abusive start in life, I find it’s also the friends you have around you. The kind that can destroy you are always waiting for the perfect opportunity to come into your life at any age. Sadly sometimes good parents can give the best guidance but some children don’t see their parents have their best intentions at heart until it’s too late...
So much pain, The stories he tells he's reliving every moment of the pain he has gone through.
I hate for this one to end. Shows you that everyone is interesting if you are just quiet and willing to listen.
Absolutely agree!!
This one made me tear up. I think his dramatic style of story telling made me really feel his pain.

Legit question: are you saying that you feel like he is acting here rather telling his story?

You can tell this dude was waiting for a good platform to tell his story, didn't even need to ask anything. It's a bit rushed & mixed up but he's got a unique way of telling it. It's too bad he was brought into that life and let it consume him. If he ever escapes that life he'd leave a captivated audience at a Ted Talk.
And a good actor.

Childhood trauma from abuse seems to be the root cause of people's mental decline. Be good to your kids and the ones that are not yours. Don't hut your kids.

Powerful story and introduction at the end! Spooky is a deep dude!
Spooky’s soul is deep. His tragedies haunt him, yet bring out so much in him. I can relate to so much. My high school sweetheart and daughters dad (we had her at 16), did a 4 year stent in prison. His childhood was filled with abuse and neglect. He also got his GED in prison, and read every single day. He educated himself. Fast forward to the present day. We are 43 and 44. He vowed never to go back to prison. You are right, you will get killed for looking at someone wrong, saying the wrong thing, etc.. We are grandparents now, two amazing grown daughters with college educations, he found a job and realized he has an amazing hidden talent. He’s been designing and making wood furniture for year’s and year’s now! We live near Telluride Colorado, and he has made many famous people thing’s for their vacation homes! It’s been 19 years and he never went back to prison, nor has he ever been in trouble again. Unfortunately, he still deals with PTSD of childhood and prison. I am his go to person to talk to and trust. Spooky, love and life is possible. Keep searching. You are so worthy of it all.
Katie Hildebrand 🙏🏽 I’m praying with you..

Chosen Won does interviews down here in Detroit his arnt even no where near this good. This would make a good Netflix show it’s raw real and a lot of people in this world need to this see this
Angelic Dreams Tarot I enjoy Chosen Won videos. I think he does his community a service by giving them a voice, which helps build a little self worth in those poor women. He seems focused on getting the addicts he talks with some kind of help in the form of donations, I think. My focus is on our self worth issues and our self destructive tendencies, which have many different symptoms, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling addiction, sex work, laziness, gang violence, etc.. These are all subjects I hope to cover in time. I’m just crossing paths with so many drug and alcohol addiction related stories on Skid Row that it’s hard to move on for now. I’d say both Chosen Won and SWU are trying to help in whatever small ways we can. Thanks for watching. ML

Nate I have worked with addicts my entire life. Tweakers tell stories like this all the time. They say they are gang members, navy seals, they all supposedly have masters or PHD’s. They are great storyline tellers. Most are delusional, narcissistic, grandiose, liars. Bottom line... when they are using, they will hurt you for the drug. El compa Spokky passed away. He is now resting in peace. REST IN PEACE SPOOKY. YA SAVES
Got shot in downtown . San pedro and 16th st
I still listen and learn from this man. All I can say is, a lot of respect to you sir!
His experience with his hands body language tone of voice you can tell he relives those memories when talking about it. It automatically draws the audience in hold our attention makes us listen. He would great as a public speaker in telling the young adults what could happen if you go down that wrong road.
@Ivan I thought coke but ye
I love how you just let him get it all out. In his time and his way.
Capri Law he didn’t let them ask questions. He told
His story his own way. Incredible!!!! Never seen something like this
Great interview. Nothin but respect for this guy! Love how he tells his story!
I’m speechless.. I pray this man gets the peace and comfort he totally deserves. 💜🙏🙏
👋🏼
His stories are so potent that you can throw a single word at him, and he will have a story behind each of them...my words to him....PAIN, SUFFER, and CONGRATULATIONS
Shut the fuck up
This guy talks honestly! Tells it like it is. Straight up. Type of guy that catches your attention when he talks. I wish him well and better!
Spooky was the first person on this channel to respond to me. My old account is long gone. I miss his reply. My comment was:
Energy! I could use some of his
He was so polite and gave me a sentence about keeping your energy positive. Never forgot that.
Hope you are doing well Spooky….
You can hear the honesty in his voice. The dude got good heart for sure.
he speaks with so much passion, especially we he talks about his son dying in the accident and when he says his introduction poem. you can hear the pain in every word
When you see the emotion in him about his bike getting stolen as a kid and then getting beat for someone stealing his bike.... 😕
Heartbreaking.....
its haunting...u can feel the fear and pain in his eyes when he recounts
😭
Dawg I wanted to cry for him
💔😔
That was the best interview thus far! I love his story!
This guy impersonates suffering unfortunately. He seems crazy intelligent.
@@PeterBalssuweit- that's why I was going to say...
I've watched a lot of these interviews and this one touched me this man has so much inside and he has a way of showing you all of it I hope he finds peace and is safe
The way he talks, tells his story. Just puts you to imagine it as he's telling it!
Damn. He didn’t hold anything back did he... wow. Spooky I hope you find peace one day. Hope u find your purpose here, because we all do have one.
Blessings bro
This is so heartbreaking! Just sitting here hearing this makes me cry learning how he lived.
Watching this was so intense I felt every emotion every word he spoke. I couldn’t imagine what it was like interviewing him in person.
He is very poetic, musical, smart, deep, profound, moving, heartbraking, heartfeld, fascinating, impressive presence, expressive, sensitive, polite, creative, etc. Hope he can battle and win over his demons and has the opportunities he deserves, he has paid his dues and he deserves a second chance. 99% of anyone growing up in such hardship would've ended in drugs and/or in prison like him and may even worse. Everyone deserves better. And he does too. He is a survivor already. Wish him the best and all the good and positive things in life.
