- This video shows us getting the roof wrapped on our 2024 Toyota Tacoma. The inspiration came from the commercials Toyota released on the white 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. This not only looks very aggressive but it will provide the roof protection from when we put a roof rack on it.

Looks much better with the black roof! Curious why you go didn’t go Satin on the roof considering the plan for satin hood decal, existing satin side pillars, and matte (raw) fender flares.

I am getting my 2024 Tacoma Sport soon and thinking about getting the same thing done to my new truck. However, I am not sure if I want gloss black or matte black. Any recommendation? TIA

The hood in the middle with the body lines, would look really good. I did that with my VW Golf R, and it looked sick.

I was thinking of doing the wrap as well on a sport, what should I expect to pay for wrapping the roof and mirrors?
We paid $600 so it should be around $600-$700

Did you guys have to remove the Shark Fin Antenna to completely wrap the roof? or did you just wrap over the Shark Fin? that was the thing I am curious about. What was the process? Will taking off the Shark Fin to wrap then put it back on, void the warranty, or cause leak in the future? Tks

@@peterphucphan6042 I have always wondered about that too, but the quality of the wraps now is as long as you do good maintenance on it you probably have a 3 to 5 year span with it. Personally, it’s difficult for me to want to spend 2 or 3+ grand on a good wrap only to know that it’s going to need to be replaced (from what I’ve read and seen).
Dang, I would have liked to see a light color roof, tan or gray…..

The fake pro? I'm in to it. I have a '17 Sport, but have plasti-dipped fenders and badges, as well as my scoop and it makes it 10 times better looking!

Should have removed the A pillar matt black film and matched the roof film
Should remove the satin on the doors and put gloss on them
That's a good idea but we were told they are on there pretty good
The wide angle camera lens throws off the view.

Agree it would look better if the fenders matched. The pro has that glossy finish that many don’t like but really like it
