Wao, Mark its awesome see you both guys together........I saw Jon video yesterday and kind of I hear your voice for a bit in the background and couldnt believe it.......awesome
Staying in 2WD?!?! That doesn’t prove anything other than you’re afraid to have front diff issues like TFL. Your “turbo lag” is because you’re using too high of gears to go up a hill with larger tires. It’s like pedaling a bike up a hill in the wrong gear. Huge stress on your transmission and engine. I wish someone would actually wheel a 4th gen already to test whether the front diff issues are widespread. Good looking truck though.
So awesome to see so many new Tacoma undergrounds in one place. 😮😮😮 I just got one myself and I absolutely love it. I also live in Phoenix and would love to tag along for a drive sometime! 🤩🤩🤩
Fun fact @trdjon, the C load ridge grapplers are actually heavier than the E load variation. I don’t fully understand how a lighter duty tire can be heavier but figured id point it out.
Did you guys compare your fuel economy between your two different wheel and tire set ups. I like the look of your wider and taller tires but if the mpgs are grossly worse than trd John s then 34s might be the sweet spot
It just helps with traction having it in 4wd. Was clinching some steep slopes in 2wd where having all 4 wheels powered would’ve been a lot easier but we still made it through
Where was the off road spot you went to with Cole when you first picked up the 24 Tacoma? I live out in Temecula and cant find it for the life of me lol
4Runners are pigs, had a 5th gen TRDORP and put a ome lift , sliders, sso hybrid with a winch and i was getting like 14,15ish mpg. Thing was slow even before all that and the super chargers didnt really add much so never bothered but yea, that 5 speed was horrible for interstates
Toyota build quality is terrible with the new trucks … every time I pull up behind a new tundra I can easily spot the gap between the corners on the bumper and chrome being unequal
you got that bullshit 8' screen like me i have the 24 trd sport up grade i want the premium its a little mor than the yp grade when i baught my truck i didnt have bo idea about the premium the sales man left that option out
Why not support American brands? Ford & Chevy mid-size trucks are great in latest gen. I just can’t relate going out of one’s way to buy a Japanese truck built in Mexico. 👎🏻
Little constructive criticism: when someone else is talking, don’t talk over them. Wait for them to finish or pause before jumping in.
Yeah, dude fucking loves hearing himself talk.
Give me a time stamp to check out, I dont recall doing that but I’ll look out for that next time
I think it was around 13:00 min mark. When comparing jon and yours
@@jesse7xuxuoh yea now that you pointed out lol😂
@@MarkBrennergood man for not jumping down someone's throat. Seems most people just get defensive and turn into keyboard warriors. Good on you
Great to finally meet you bro! Can’t wait for some future videos when we link up again.
Damn that 4 banger screams. The turbo hit smoked the 4Runner lol. These trucks do look nice all done up like this but I still like my 2020

I bet the transmission temperature was screaming, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Probably took years off of the transmission life
That silver OG Trail was sick!
That’s so cool
Nice video
Wescott rocks with his socks!!!!😮
5th gen 4Runner over any vehicle. Engine and transmission are bulletproof.
Timeless design!
Definitely. It also won’t lose 4x4 when going off road. I now know why they stayed in two wheel drive.

Both trucks look great. I do think a blue wheel would look sick with the underground.
Waited for the Wescott designs pre collar lift on my 4th gen. Totally worth the wait. Love it and TRD Jons RRW wheels

Bro wth!? I just look at the E load is some how 1 pound lighter. That’s wild!

The grey colors are awesome
Dude let them talk. You ask a question let them finish answering. You’re killing me smalls
Next time you’re in town, I’ll take you out to some trails. I have yet to do black canyon city trail in my trailboss but soon.
Hit me on the gram!!
Your truck toyota truck is the winner mark 😊😊
Nice video. One question, how does stay in 2wd test out the suspension system more than 4wd? Or maybe I am missing something.
It just helps with traction having it in 4wd. Was clinching some steep slopes in 2wd where having all 4 wheels powered would’ve been a lot easier but we still made it through
Dang, when was this. I’m local to north phx and I would’ve loved to take my 2024 trd sport 4x4 out on the trail with yall!
Where was the off road spot you went to with Cole when you first picked up the 24 Tacoma? I live out in Temecula and cant find it for the life of me lol
Assuming you mean the 2nd spot that’s lake mathews!
Cherry St. (Adam’s Ave) off Jefferson
@@jmurf7444 thank you!
@@MarkBrennerSweet thanks!
Phoenix resident. Where is this trail? Looked like so much fun. Glad to see the Tundra back.
Black canyon city
Great content. I wonder if you could upgrade the turbos on these trucks 🤔
Do you have a lift?
The sticker on the front radar sensor, then later it was removed LOL
With the 2-1/2” westcott lift are 35s on the stock wheels doable?
What sunglasses is he wearing with the Toyota Racing colors
KC Sunglasses.
Heatwave 👌🏼
Any over heating with 35s?
Viva tacos loco 😂
Great video can’t wait mine is on it way underground color also😎
Where is this trail?
do 35s rub when flexed

Can I just let you guys borrow my 2024 tacoma Trd sport and yall just upgrade it for a video??
2 wheel drive? You guys afraid front differential/axles might break? 😂😂
I’ll wait it out to even think about buying the new Tacoma. Just like how the tundra had kinks the first year 😂
Probably a good idea to stay in 2wd considering TFL's catastrophic 4wd failure on their new Tacoma TRD OffRoad. Lol! Good video!
Toyota build quality is terrible with the new trucks … every time I pull up behind a new tundra I can easily spot the gap between the corners on the bumper and chrome being unequal
Always with the drama
I prefer the Method Wheels for some reason even tho the bronze look's cool
epic
Epic? 😂😂 Try the Rubicon Trail.
lotta talking over your friends..let em speak and finish first
Should get the taco wrapped
TRD John… 😂

Who will be the Next one to have a TFL Style fail? It’s coming!
Just saw a video where the front suspension strut fail ... the top bushing pop off😂😂😂
Why this guy keep talking over people ?

TRD JON I like better
Ayyyooooo
Pretty lame
