btw - Dex is not crit chance for every class. Every class has their own crit chance stat. Just noticed I said that without clarifying that I was looking at a Barb Board
I have been loving your content. In my opinion, you do a great job of breaking down the necessary information. I tuned my Barb by following your Whirlwind build, and he feels fantastic. Thank you.
The first paragon board is very special. It has the highest main stat and not too strong magic/rare nodes. Take advantage and put in your best main stat glyph there.
Why do the Paragon boards on build guides have more red squares than I have in my game? Every guide I follow 80% of my Glyphs are not met due to squares not being red that are in the online guides.
My advice after spending over 50 million gold on respecs. Only bother with legendary nodes ( Multiplicative damage ones), nodes that boost critical strike or just flat damage boost ( avoid skill boosts like nature magic 20%), and glyph sockets. Try to get as many different types of multiplicative damage boosts from glyphs. I've been able to get around 20 million damage with this formula.
Lol as a new player I defiantly needed this vid. Is there any benefit to level the glyphs over 15 ? I’ve been leveling the ones I’m prob not going to ever use. I thought 15 was the end until I watched the video!
Unfortunately pushing higher nightmare tiers doesn't necessarily yield better rewards. It increases the odds of ancestral, sure. But 90% of my 800+ ilvl pieces with great rolls come from speedrunning normal dungeons with 20+ elites in 2 minutes.
for a lot of people killing mobs 10-20 levels higher takes the same time as killing same level mobs in non-nm dungeon. only difference is the increased amount of ancestral, which means higher chance at higher item power drops. nothing is certain as you said, but if you can handle nightmare dungeons higher than your level, that's the place to go for drops. if you cant, sure, stick to normal dungeons
I'm level 100 full bone build so I can practically one shot anything, killed uber lilith etc. The thing about nightmares is you'll still spend 20 minutes going through the whole dungeon to get maybe 10 ancestral drops at tier 70. You can run mercys reach normal dungeon in 2 minutes and get 15 ancestral drops at the same if not higher item level. Mass elite killing in as fast as time possible is the key for gear. I agree with everything else regarding the actual paragon board though. If you still need glyph or level xp nightmare dungeons are the way to go. But extra xp caps out at mobs being 3 levels higher than you. Great vid.
Didn't a dev come out and say you defo get better drops from higher tiers? Maybe that's just the unique drop chance. At least you get more glyph xp from higher ones.
Devs came out and said you get better chances at ancestral drops from higher tiers. Everyone just assumed that meant better item levels and rolls. This is not the case. I challenge anyone to go run "Mercys Reach" dungeon I believe it's called, in the northwestern part of fractured plains. Do only the first 2 objectives (as the rest is not worth the time). Focus primarily on killing all the elites you see and open all chests along the way (as they have a chance to drop yellow or spawn an elite mob. Once you've cleared the second room with the mechanical boxes for the pedestal, leave dungeon, log out, log back in to reset the dungeon. It should only take a couple minutes to clear at high level. Count the amount of ancestral drops you get and how long it took to get them. After a few runs you'll quickly see that you get the same averages of item level as anywhere else. I've gotten quite a few uniques this way as well. You of course won't get glyph xp, and it doesn't compete with level xp as nightmare dungeons. But as far as loot farming it takes the cake. Try for yourself. High density elite mobs are going to give you many drops.
son of a b!@#$. I'm just now noticing that Exploit works different for the Sorc. Exploit does not apply Vulnerability, it only gives a damage buff to vulnerable enemies. For a second I thought "there's my answer to creating a build without Frost Nova". But nope, Sorc is still shit.
@@LuckyGhostDiablo yup. But, thanks for the vid. You definitely helped me improve my paragon board. Still trying a Crackling Energy focused build, I just have to accept that I'm forced 3 out of 6 skills and conjuration can't be one of them
In the abilities it mentions if 5 Ice shards hit an enemy in a cast they are vulnerable. And so my amulet has always had 5to7 ice shards which immediately does the job. Sorc ice shard, frost build with freeze is fun. But sorc needs a boost in stats and variety builds.. You can apply vulnerability through dual status proc or what I just mentioned.. Doesn't have to be frost nova only.. Unique Gloves with freeze and pants with frost nova chain hit. Hold is fun..

great stuff
Man that's a perfect breakdown. I been doin it kinda wrong lol.
hey lucky, loved your ESO builds and want to get into diablo. Wondering if you are still playing?
I feel like I’ve made the mistake of filling out my first two paragon boards to much maybe kinda sorta 🙃
There's a refund button
Duh
Yes you should lol
What’s more important to get first, the legendary note or glyph socket?
likely depends on the build, usually the glyph!
@@LuckyGhostDiablo ice shards sorcerer build

yes, level them all the way to 21(the ones you're using that is)! but get each one to 15 first! thats the biggest power spike they get
Can you increase critical damage through paragon boards?
yes, sometimes there are critical damage nodes on the board, cheers
Do you have an endgame ice shard build currently lv 75
written guide goes all the way to end game on the ice shard build at diablo4.justlootit.com
Rope from antholes
Wait he could have moved some points around and got the dex lol. As he's talking about it too😅
