HOW TO SHAVE A POODLE FACE!! - Clean face on a standard poodle

In this video I will be teaching you how to shave a standard poodles face! This also works on any breed but is mostly known for poodles. I am using a number 10 Artero blade. (Can be found here: amzn.to/3IFGMch) On darker colored poodles I would use a 15 blade but because this poodle is a lighter color it has more of a sensitivity to shorter blades and to ensure that her skin does not get irritated a 10 blade is going to be much safer.
I will be going against the grain of her hair to get the shortest shave possible and give her that adorable poodle look. You will see and I will explain the lines around her face that I follow to get this perfect shaved face! Make sure to be very careful while shaving, and especially around their lips as you do not want to knick or cut their skin at all. Doesn’t this shave off the whiskers? My vet says you shouldn’t shave their whiskers off
Dogs are perfectly fine without their whiskers. It’s cats that need their whiskers😊
Did you say what clipper you’re using? Number 10 blade but what clipper is that?

She is doing so good. I started to groom.our Poodle . Because nobody did it the way we wanted it or he came home with bad bad clipper burns. We had it with paying so much money and the dog gets hurt all the time. I did a clean face yesterday well i tried at least 😂. But this helps me so much . Only thing our Poodle he hates his face and feet to get groomed so it takes me awhile sometimes i wait a day and try again the next. He might know i am nerves too.

How often do you recommend this for a puppy? She's 4 months, and I want her to be comfortable getting groomed regularly.
I recommend every 3-4 weeks as a puppy so she gets used to it and then every 4-6 weeks when she’s older 😊
