Someone made this "extension" using footage of the last bit of the real film. They didn't use grammar check either, first they wrote that "Ben Chapel was sentenced to the electric chair" rather than sentenced to die in the the electric chair, after which they wrote that he was 'awaiting sentencing". Then they used the non-word "implicity" instead of "complicity". Poor job.
I Thought This Movie Was Called The Victim? Love Elizabeth Montgomery!!!
TVTERRORLAND Thank you....For whatever reason the film didn't have that in it, I still appreciate you sharing this addition.
This footage was not part of the original film as broadcast on TV (which was actually called 'The Victim' originally) and was an attempt by the video distributor to make it look like an up-to-date release at the time of the video release. The people complaining about you originally not including this footage must have first seen the movie on video and not on its original broadcast in '72!
The Blu Ray release is the only version to get, and was how the movie was originally shown on TV without the nonsensical text at the end.
The problem here is that the dates on the end text are dates later than when the actual film was made. I believe this text was added for the video release and was never seen on television :-)
Well, that was depressing... :P
I didn't realize that Mrs. Hawks did anything, and I don't think Kathryn would have gone insane...
This movie was called "The Victim". Why change the title?
@mmr003 I know, it make no sense at all. This is why I cut it from the film when I posted it but a lot of users complained that it was missing.
So when it originally aired on tv, it didnt include the text at the end....
I new it was the husband!
wth it's trailer?
