It took a while if I recall correctly. One of the things I picked up from Ephemeral Rift (among many things) is not so sweat that stuff so much and be more naturalistic. It's a lot more fun that way.

I'm selective with my ASMR, I go in for narrative and ambiance over things like specific trigger content(i.e.videos titled: 40 minute medium tensile strength resin handle 7 inch hairbrush sounds only!), and you just hit the mark consistently. You're my favorite, I can watch your work just as much to enjoy the immersion as i can to fall asleep very fast. The little details do it for me, that sense of commitment proffers a plausible reality. And as a musician myself, hearing the details unseen tenders the final auteur signature. Thank You.

There's a distinct unsettling vibe for the first half before the viewer's unconscious and it's really great. Don't ask how an unsettling video can also be calming, but you've always nailed that sort of thing.

Due to the thumbnail and title of your video, I did have a strong feeling that this wasn't going to be your typical "makeover asmr", yet this still shocked me. I thought this would only be a great relaxing parody. I came across this video during the midnight, hoping to achieve a state of sleep which failed within 12 minutes. I would be lying if I told you I didn't enjoy this video because I watched the whole thing for the thrill really and the sounds were actually amazing. Hey, thanks for the warning in the description! This was really well-made and definitely in the spirit of Halloween, but it would have been way too anxiety-inducing without knowing some details ahead of time. Keep up the good work.
Two points. Contrary to popular opinion I actually enjoy medical/dental work. Prior to ASMR and the role plays associated to it I found the waiting room and the experience itself to be very relaxing. Second, What did you use as a blood analog in this video? If it was paint/red ink, it's very convincing.
First off, this is a well crafted and enthralling video. I'm going to do something now I've never wanted to do: Write a critically negative comment on youtube. Just throwing a heads up that this is a genuinely creepy video with enough scary elements to counteract the Asmr involved, personally speaking. The description for this video, particularly the likeness to ER, had me believing that the jest in creepiness would be overcome with the relaxing qualities, but I did not find it to be the case. I'm getting this out there cause I rarely have panic attacks of any sort and totally just had one in response to this video. Again, this is a very artistic work, front to back, in both content and concept. I just believed there should be some more proper labeling done for those who are looking to kick back to some satire.
I was looking forward to this video quite a bit. Perfect to fall asleep too on this Halloween night, right? I have to say, I was a caught a bit off guard by the lack of any tags about how it would go. ER did make it seem like it would've been a bit more lighthearted than it was. That being said, I did enjoy it a lot. For some reason I just couldn't stop the video and I was left in a state of relaxation and pure horror and anticipation anxiety. Very, very strange combination. Ultimately I think the theme isn't for me (probably a bit too much of a trigger) but the work and professionalism that went into this were very apparent.
Dan & Indigo: My sincere apologies, I suffer from anxiety as well and wouldn't want to induce it in my worst enemy. I think the problem here (apart from different individual thresholds and triggers for anxiety) may stem from the fact that I'm far too inexperienced to know what hits the mark as spooky and what just comes off as silly. I've added the trigger warning to the description and will be more mindful in the future.

You know you'll be scared but you're enjoying yourself a lot. Think it might also have a bit to do with your acting. It almost seemed too real at points, haha. You seriously did an amazing job on the entire thing and I personally cannot wait to see what projects you'll be working on with ER.

Two points. Contrary to popular opinion I actually enjoy medical/dental work. Prior to ASMR and the role plays associated to it I found the waiting room and the experience itself to be very relaxing. Second, What did you use as a blood analog in this video? If it was paint/red ink, it's very convincing.
First off, this is a well crafted and enthralling video.
I'm going to do something now I've never wanted to do: Write a critically negative comment on youtube. Just throwing a heads up that this is a genuinely creepy video with enough scary elements to counteract the Asmr involved, personally speaking. The description for this video, particularly the likeness to ER, had me believing that the jest in creepiness would be overcome with the relaxing qualities, but I did not find it to be the case.
I'm getting this out there cause I rarely have panic attacks of any sort and totally just had one in response to this video. Again, this is a very artistic work, front to back, in both content and concept. I just believed there should be some more proper labeling done for those who are looking to kick back to some satire.
I was looking forward to this video quite a bit. Perfect to fall asleep too on this Halloween night, right? I have to say, I was a caught a bit off guard by the lack of any tags about how it would go. ER did make it seem like it would've been a bit more lighthearted than it was.
That being said, I did enjoy it a lot. For some reason I just couldn't stop the video and I was left in a state of relaxation and pure horror and anticipation anxiety. Very, very strange combination.
Ultimately I think the theme isn't for me (probably a bit too much of a trigger) but the work and professionalism that went into this were very apparent.
Dan & Indigo: My sincere apologies, I suffer from anxiety as well and wouldn't want to induce it in my worst enemy. I think the problem here (apart from different individual thresholds and triggers for anxiety) may stem from the fact that I'm far too inexperienced to know what hits the mark as spooky and what just comes off as silly. I've added the trigger warning to the description and will be more mindful in the future.
Phoenician Sailor Thanks for your reply! While it was bordering on the edge of 'too much' at points I did love it a lot. It's like watching horror movies for me. You know you'll be scared but you're enjoying yourself a lot. Think it might also have a bit to do with your acting. It almost seemed too real at points, haha. You seriously did an amazing job on the entire thing and I personally cannot wait to see what projects you'll be working on with ER.
