I'm not sure if you remember - but, I commented on one of your life is strange videos back in 2016 saying that I'm about to start college for video production and that you were a big inspiration of mine. Since then, I graduated with a degree in communications and became certified in videography. I now have two full time video jobs - filming weddings and videography work for a company in Knoxville, TN. I say all of that because I owe my accomplishments to you and your incredible work ethic. I’m loving the effect that the gimbal set up gives. It moves in a similar way that humans do when they are nervous. We don’t sit still, so why should the camera. Great job!
gimbal setup is INSANE. it absolutely adds to the immersiveness and I've never seen something equivalent in an asmr video. as others have commented, i might turn down the sensitivity/turn up the tolerance so it's a little less jittery. still, I'm blown away by it and look forward to seeing it again in the future! edit: when the camera locked as you said to look straight ahead 👏👏👏👏 incredible
Thanks! Yeah, I'm hoping DJI does a firmware update that smooths the motion and lets you turn down the sensitivity more than it does currently, otherwise I have to run a stabilizer ass on it which would take all the fun out of the process.

I was beginning to miss that guy with his weird ramblings, fascinations, and obsession with back hair. I do have to applaud you sir for being one of the very few people who's managed to gross me out by making my eardrums crawl...with leeches... of all things!

I like this moving camera idea, it’s moves a little too fast I feel for this video but it’s a phenomenal idea! EDIT: although I am watching this on a phone close to my face, so maybe that changes things.
I love this. no audio overstimulation, just a bit of talking, then some sounds, sometimes both but never overwhelming. The only thing that would make this even more perfect for me is some natural background/white noise, I love noticing the difference in proximity between the person, what they're doing, and the background.
My God this video is phenomenal!! The cinatography, I don't know how you did it, it's incredible! Always breaking barriers this man. The movement of the camera feels so organic! Thank you.

I really like the panning effect you did here that makes it look like the viewers head is moving. Just the right amount of movement without being dizzying or distracting. :)
I love this experimental style, it really ads something with a more natural view that isn't fixed like being stuck in a chair unable to look around. This just adds a level of immersion that is insane. As always some of the best videos for quality and content.

As more people have stated before me, I also really enjoyed the switching between the dynamic and static camera. I could hear in the audio at certain points that you had some issues with panning and getting it to "sound right", and I think it's very cool to see you experiment with new ways of recording and editing. I think, for me atleast, the sonic immersiveness with close-ear sounds and the placement of your voice/presence in the room close to the camera was at its best when the camera was locked in place. I would also imagine that to be easier for you in the editing afterwards. As for you moving around in the space and the camera tracking your movements, the audio sounded great. It was also delightfully meta at times. Thank you for this experience. Edit: Some wording. English is not my native language.
Oh, and if I may add: Not sure how technically challenging it is with your setup, but if it would be possible to adjust the audio mics to be higher up, like ear height, adjacent to the camera/eyes, I think that would bring the level of immersiveness up yet another notch. I know I'm probably asking alot, but it's easy to get greedy when it's already so close to perfect. Just a little more. A wish for future videos. Have a good week!

I've been under a rock I guess, but what a fantastic roleplay. Every aspect as always is on point. And forgive me, but again...that nose...it is utter perfection! Not a flirtation...
I am delaying the proper watching seance for a bit later due to the limited connection in the woods, but for now: a) those camera moves!! a perfect touch! b) the way you nailed the light in a manner that makes the video thumbnails look as if there previous one and this one were filmed DAYS, not YEARS apart is incredibly impressive, - but hey, let's face the truth, I still need to find a work of yours that doesn't impress me.
I wish! The eye bags, the hairline ... to be fair, I USED to use aging make-up in older videos to deliberately look older. I no longer need to do that :)
Loved the video, really felt like a new step in immersive ASMR POV roleplays. Only thing is I think the tracking is a little too jumpy, the constant moving was a bit too much sometimes. Maybe if there were a short "grace period" between camera moves it would be a little bit less intense (no idea how that could be achieved though).
I really like the innovative idea of camera tracking but I think its a little bit too much/overwhelming. Maybe if it was a little smoother or more flowy it would make all of this also more relaxing. That't just my opinion though :)
