I believe that there are three main reasons that people join the police. Somebody who wants to help society, someone who likes to bully, and someone who is not taken notice of in their normal life and knows if they get that blue uniform on people have to take notice. I think it's clear where these two characters fit in.

The sooner the police are sued as individuals will the public see an improvement in police behaviour. The egotism running through the force is rife.There is a culture of bullying which runs through the police force and it needs to be stopped. What I will say to the officer who laid hands on plod is remember what happened to inspector Dean Gittoes in Merthyr could and we all hope will happen to you.

How can you be trespassed from public property when you have done nothing illegal ,the police officer is not the owner of the land only a employee how has no authority, if you noticed the higher rank officer did nothing because he knew they were wrong

It's sad that my comment was deleted. I want to know why UK auditors can't stand their ground. They seems to be proving that there are no rights in the UK. There are zero consequences for the cops.
The saddest thing about this is thst the SUPERINTENDENT allows the uniformed thug to behave like that and to dictate what is happening . They are both supervisors and train others to behave and follow their examples . They are also responsible fir disciplining other officers when they behave incorrectly. This clearly displays how they struggle in their recollection of reality, basic comprehension of the law and how to enforce it. This evidence can be used to dismantle any case they are involved in, due to their clear shortcomings, and hence criminals walk free.

And obviously the Chief Constable of Surrey. Both of these officers should be Suspended immediately pending a Full independent enquiry of their Behaviour and Failure of Duty and thier Oath ? Assault being one of the offences committed by the Sgt and the Superintendent refusing access to the Police Reception area to Report the Assault by the Sgt and the Superintendent for allowing this officer too Assault a member of the Public!!!

Things will only change when they are held personally responsible. I see that some States in the USA are removing qualified immunity for Police and the same should apply in the UK and Australia.

There was a guy who spoke to plod before that nice lady spoke to him. He was also very nice, polite, etc......
Both of them two were CIVILIAN police STAFF - ie. they didn't get the "training" in bullying and assaulting the public which the cops got!!

They should make a "reasonable adjustment" under the 2010 equality act. Regarding disability discrimination. But all they want is to enforce. No meeting half way. Both ego driven bufoons.

@NickLea it's interesting that you make that observation because it illustrates a point very well. They don't know how much pain, discomfort, or freedom of mobility he has. So should err on the dide of caution. Which, as he demonstrated, once they calmed down. Set aside their frantic need for instant obedience. They made a small concession. Proving beyond doubt. That they were capable of it. They still don't know how agile he is. But compassion and patience were slow to appear.

Over the years I have in my work had to have close interactions with police officers like this one in black. Total loose cannons iv found and any member of the public must not be left alone with them.Historically i found a lot of police officers got their jobs through nepatism and nothing else of value to the role.

Re the boundary, I could not see anything that indicated that it was not accessible to the public at the barrier as the footpath continued past that point, and the sign on the grassed area was only for the residences behind that sign where the low fence was situated.
